I'm not very concerned with what the elected elite call programs like Social Security and Medicare. The simple fact is we all paid for these things through payroll deductions during our working lives with a promise they would be there when they were needed. Not so with the true entitlements such as welfare, SNAP, and other crap designed to keep the lazy and useless depending on the plantation as planned by Lyndon Johnson when pushing for his "Great Society". (... an aside - we should dig that bastard up, run what's left of him through a tree shredder and rebury in a full outhouse)

There are records kept as to the amounts I paid toward each of these programs and I will be quite pleased to waive any further payments by these programs upon the refund of all taken from me over the years, in cash, plus interest accrued.

Make no mistake that when the right talks about doing away with "entitlements" they are talking about Social Security as well. Just because some abuse programs such as Welfare thats not a reason to do away with it, punish the abusers, the alternative is that people sell themselves into slavery as a means to survive with an elite few getting richer and richer. The same crowd who took away your pension, retiree medical and decent paycheck, aided by our own, are the same people looking to do away with entitlements for the working class while keeping entitlements for the rich. look at Lala who is ok with the rich not paying their fair share of taxes because he believes they will use those extra monies to invest and create jobs. Its a fairy tale but enough working class people have bought into it that they get away with it. He is the victim of their greed yet his anger and fustration is focused against people who are worse off than he is. sad, its like going home and beating your kids because the boss gave you a hard time, lacking the courage to take on the boss abuse the helpless.

The"right", as well as the "left", seem to actually be on the same side and show no distiction between themselves. This politically polarized crap is nothing more than Kabuki Theater for the distraction of the masses. Make no mistake - neither party has the citizens' interest in mind. Leading anyone to belive otherwise was not my intention.

There's no such thing as a good politician - well, there is, but I won't go there. Both parties have opened season on the USA Citizens under a cloud of misinformation and lies.

My comments weren't about right and wrong but about my personal views - hopefully those of many others, also. Some do not take kindly to being thieved from by a government, union, or any other entity - I am one of those and proud of it.

What "entitlements" are you referring to? SSI and Medicare are forced investments. I am not giving up something I have been "FORCED" to pay for 20 years. I have no idea how much money AA has received from Tulsa. Is it OK? I do not know. Maybe it is. I believe the Tulsa economy largely benefits from AA's presence. You have to remember AA is not just AA. AA is itself plus all the local companies that do business with AA. If Tulsa can give AA a 20 million dollar subsidy and they add 200 million dollars a year to the tax revenue then that is a pretty good investment.

I did not claim to buy into anything. I was explaining to OldGuy@AA the intent behind giving wealthy people tax breaks. He asked the question “So why should they get a huge break on their investment income”. I was giving him an answer.

Maybe that is what is in “your” mind. Do not speak for me. When I referred to a women having 6 kids and being on welfare I was talking about a very specific person. That specific person was Nadya Suleman. So why don’t you take your race baiting B.S. to someone else.

Wow. The more you say the more dumb you sound. I never said I was OK with it. Like many Liberals you warp things to your own reality. When someone challenges your fantasy world you assassinate peoples’ character (comparing me to a child beater) and race bait (that stupid remark you made in post #300). Liberal Tactics 101. The only thing I have felt victimized by for years is the TWU and the Liberal Democratic Party. I would hardly call a parasite abusing an “entitlement” program worse off than me, especially when they are doing it on my paycheck.

I take offense to you comparing me to a child beater.
