Heat stroke on ramp in DCA

A ramp agent from another airline sent me a message that a UAL ramper in DCA died of heat related causes while at work today. No further details. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

My prayers go out for His/Her Family and Friends.

Stay away from caffeine drinks, they help dehydrate you. Just as alcohol, especially the night before you wake up all dehydrated. Drink plenty of water, every 15 minutes. Some people don't realize the actual amount of water lost while sweating. I Wish ALL You Rampers a Safe Summer!
