Seeing layoffs is not exactly a huge surprise during bankruptcy. It's unfortunate but the reality is that people are going to lose their jobs and the rest of us are going to lose pay and benefits. That's how it goes. Nothing to do now except try to save what we can and make AA successful again.

Hey Team twboo we will most likely lose our pensions to the pbgc. So all the crap that you and the other bubbas were spewing in 2003 are the ones to blame. Well, whatever happens tomorrow in the AMR/TWU/APA/APFA meetings, I just hope we all can agree on one thing: A minimal wage, retirement, and benefit cut. And to our Overhaul Maintenance folks: We all hope it's kept in-house so our jets are the safest in the world!!!! Please don't send our birds to El Salvador, Mexico, or Singapore, among other countries, for maintenance. Pilots and F/A's make sure you get PLENTY of rest, for starters!!! Tomorrow, we're all going to realize that more hits to our familie's livlihoods are coming. Most of us will continue on. There aren't many spring chickens here at AA these days. Lets all do our jobs correcly, safely and do not compromise from this!!!! Safety is why we're here....let's press on with our heads high because WE ARE AA!!!!!!!
