HERE COMES THE LAYOFFS

WRONG. This management team has NO IDEA what it takes to be a leader. The whole bonus/psp thing sent the WRONG message. We were NEVER in this together. It is about perception. The leadership here had a chance and blew it. Now we pay the price and they still profit.

Before you start typing words with caps lock (which is equivalent to yelling) such as "wrong" and acting as if you know every single variable of AA's problem, why don't you find out the facts first - you make yourself look ignorant.

Do you even read what you post? That is exactly what we have said in the past. I am not responsible for sports stadium naming rights or gas guzzler leases. I myself know enough to commute on a motorcycle.

I don't what you have said in the past...I'm commenting on what you stated. 🙄

I don't particularly like anti-management OR anti-labor talk, because I think it takes a team, and I do understand "teammates" don't always get along or see eye-to-eye....BUT....your point about PERCEPTION is dead on. Perception, unfortunately, is always greater than REALITY.

Reality: if every bonus given to management was redistributed to the employees, it would mean maybe a few hundred dollars more in each person's pocket at the end of the year.

Perception: how do you ask one man or woman to take a cut and sacrifice when you are getting rewarded.

That probably is the key, if management had lost ALL of their bonuses, and taken a different attitude, my gut tells me more employees would be ok with jumping on the "grenades" so to speak..

Can the judge fly fix or load airplanes? You have power, you just need the balls to use it.
No the judge cannnot, but Singapore and AeroMexico sure can. Times have changed and the sooner you understand that, the better.

How about blaming the union heads who chose this particular situation? The unions in 2003 had the opportunity to either take cash "up front" or stock options. Guess which was chosen? Gee, I wonder (said in a very dry tone).

YEP I WAS YELLING! I`ve been here 22 years so I think I do have just a bit of insight to the issues at hand. I`m ignoant of many things but not stupid. I do know leadership and fella this place is lacking.

IMHO, You get it. I don`t begrudge the executives what they earn. The perception is and was of them rewarding themselves while expecting the rank and file to sacrifice. It`s not going to get better. The term sheets that were presented today are going to do nothing other than deepen the resentment on the floor. It is NOT wrong or out of line for an employee with 22 years on the payroll and very experienced in his/her field, to expect a fair and respectful place to work. To continue to take from your people and reward yourselves is,well, WRONG. That, however, is the state of this company and Nation. I`ll never see eye to eye with company apologists or union stooges. Both are out of touch with the working men and women of this once great airline.Out.

I hope we get to vote on that POS. I'd rather take my chances on the Judge.

I heard someone say "no hurry.... revenge is best served cold".

Being here 22 years doesn't give you a right to yell at others. I'm not saying you are a stupid person-but I think you should get the facts first.

Whether Horton and his team lack leadership or not, we'll know in the next 6-18 months.

I`m living the "facts" everyday. Sometimetimes it takes a little yelling to get someones attention. Finally I do not give a rip what YOU think!

Naw ur not living the facts your living "rheems dream" for maintenance.

I don't see aa emerging as a stand alone airline. Anyone that actually works or contacts the public will be so demoralized I just don't see any inspiration. If it wasn't so sad it would be humorous!
