That sounds like a personal attack <_<
Oh brother, you westies can dish it out but cry like a 254lb baby when someone gives it back. Go read some of your post pal.
That sounds like a personal attack <_<
I've got my 401k and its building nicely.
How about them pennies on the dollar?
No, I believe you are wrong. You quit, resigned, left, beat feet, or what ever you call it from TWA. Then you were HIRED by UAL at a latter time in life.
Not the case for this one Mr. United. There was no hiring, resigning, so you are WRONG once again.
No, I believe you are wrong.
I was hired by UAL while working for TWA. After accepting the job with another ALPA airline, I THEN resigned from my current ALPA airline. My years with ALPA even rolled over, uninterrupted, and I got my 10 year wings based on my hire date at TWA even though I was working for UAL. How come I didn't take my pay scale and seniority with me???? Where were you when I needed someone to cry to ALPA that there were lesser pilots with less years of service ahead of me on the seniority list??? Oh yeah... Because I was right with my first assertion. DOH does not transfer from one airline to another. It doesn't transfer in a merger either. Just read the merger policy. It's in the same document that spells out all your other union rights. You don't have the right to pick and choose which ones apply to you and which ones don't.
The day your 2 airlines merged, they both ceased to exist and everyone was now a new employee of the new USAirways, and their seniority was subject to each labor group's merger policy. Hence the snapshot that ALPA takes at that date, of what your position is at that moment.
Just remember that USAirways could just as easily have been named America West, or some other name completely. (Just like ValueJet becoming AirTran overnight.) The name choice was a marketing decision. Try not to let the name painted on the side of the airplane cloud your judgment or give you delusions of superiority. Remember who's management team took over, and where the HQ is located. Your DOH adjusted for YOS with restrictions etc. etc. is, was, and will continue to be a nonstarter.
For all the chest beating and rhetoric, the claims of superior airmanship, the self righteous claim to entitlement, the self pitty and arrogant feelings that somehow your sacrifices are worth more than others, your threats and lack of integrtiy, you guys really come across as a bunch of unprofessional amateurs.
Hmmm... I don't see anywhere that I sounded angry. I haven't attacked anyone. And please spare me with the JB garbage again. I have been very consistent and clear about my position on merger integration. Relative seniority based on what you bring to the table is the only fair solution. And I have clearly stated on this board many times that I would not support a staple job if UA bought JB.You have a anger problem and no life. I would bet that if UAL merged with JB you would staple there butts quicker then you run your mouth. Nobody wants to hear your crap pal. By the way, you have no freakn Idea what you are talking about.
What is going to be interesting is when United's assets are called US Airways.
What special information do you have to justify this pipe dream-other than "I believe..."?What is going to be interesting is when United's assets are called US Airways.

Quote from Richard, moderator,
"Too many threads are being drawn off topic and are becoming sniping grounds with personal attacks "
What do you call quotes from this individual. Check the history, it is non stop sniping.

You need to be focusing on making crew meals and going over your C172's EO procedures.
That was pretty stupid Nos.
