The negotiating Committee is scheduled to receive a counter proposal today in Washington DC. The Committee has reported that the original proposal contained the following issues:
Elimination of 4 Maintenance Stations (To be named)
Elimination of Pushbacks
Elimination De-ice by Mechanics
Elimination Plant Maintenance
Elimination of Utility (except PIT, CLT, PHL)
Increase cost of Medical
Elimination of 401K 2% match
The above issues would result in the following job cuts:
Mechanics = 502
Utility = 427
Stock Clerks = 5
Total = 934
