There was indeed a terrible accident in PHL today.
It involved a young man (21yrs. old) and a couple
of vechiles. At this time we must offer up our prayers
for his family and to all those involved. This should
never have happened.
I will not give the employees name as some of his co-
workers are still being told. The family needs to be in our
thoughts and prayers as do all those involved.

Canale will be there as a represenitive of
The Secretary of Law Committee. Did you (1)
know Canale is the Editor-in-Chief of the (2)
"Messenger'', talk about self police...........
this guy is ridiculous. He should not hold that
position either and how do we go about removing
him from being in charge of the what information
gets printed and read by the membership. Currently
he also is Pres. Thats' 3 jobs all paid and held (3)
within the IAM.

What other positions and jobs does he hold or incur a salary ?

That gentleman in PHL is being reported as a tipped tug
on a sharp turn but there may be other vechiles involved.
The police are investigating.

I have been told Lodge !776 President Bob Boland and AGC - Elect Frank O'Donnell are involved in giving assitance to the family of this tragic loss. Rich Delaney President Elect has been briefed as well on the loss of one of our union brothers. When more details become avalable I will post updates.

In the meantime please keep this lost workers family in your prayers

Regards

Roadtrip

Ain’t sure whut yer indicatin’ ‘bout Canale… however… I will say this …we voted him OUT… period! The New Direction WILL assume control of the 141 soon.

I’ll assure that the network of solidarity is watching very closely, we will take every measure to ensure that the will of this Fleet Membership is honored.

Please keep our PHL co-worker and his familly in our thoughts and prayers. THX GF

''road''- I'm just letting the poster a couple ahead of me
who thinks Canale will not be at the IAM Grand Lodge
Convention that he will indeed be there in the capacity
of ''Secretary of Law Committee''. A position he holds.
He also is the ''Editor-in-Chief'' of the Messenger. He controls
the information provided in that rag. Also he remains Pres. until
Delanney officially takes over. Take a look at the Messenger this
month. Roach is asked "Who is recommending a change to the
dues structure ?'' and instead of giving names he answers with
''the grand lodge''. Hum !! who's that ? Him and the Canales of
the world but Canale controls the print in the paper. Also take
note that Al Faung is the "Managing Editor'' and his lovely monthly
piece appears at the end of each addition.

Reasons for the dues increase ?
''9-11, bad trade deals, anti labor administration and a decline in
membership.''...

My reasons for no dues increase 9-11, bad trade deals(you made them on our level)
anti labor administration (well on our level at least were starting to clean
it up) and a decline in membership (are they suggesting that for us to
choose to stay with the IAM we should pay more.)

Keep your eyes on Canale cause Roach is not going to let him go.....til
Roach is gone and probably many others. We opened the door to the
''boys club'' and they do not like it, at all. Union my a$$ thier all about
thier $$$$, thats' all.

If this is the case, then it's time for roach to go too! He is no better then canale. Birds of a feather should flock together, in someone else's sky. NOT OURS!

Hey DonCanipe, Some of the guys are planning on fishing while in JAX. We heard of some of your midnight shark-in-a-canoe fishin' you are famous for. Can you help us out finding the good spots?

My understanding is that Robert Roach was very professional and welcomed the New Direction leaders with respect and pledged support.

At any rate, Canale won't be involved in any capacity with 141 after October.

BTW Roabilly, I like 'A'. And who mentioned fishing?
