PineyBob,
I read an article a couple of months ago that said US Airways pays some unGodly rent for their space at Crystal City.It was way above and beyond what the other tenants pay.Dave and all of his underlings should pack their things and rent four or five construction trailers and put them at DCA or some other airport where they can actually see the planes, move in and get to work. After all, they did say we had to get leaner and meaner.

don`t we have a few empty res centers?...

US Airways has reached agreement with the CCY building lessor to lower US Airways corporate headquarters lease expense to more favorable terms.

With this expense reduction and ability to be close to important federal offices, the current location of our headquarters is likely very prudent and important real estate.

Separately, Flyonthewall, your comments are accurate. If the TA's are disapproved the airline will liquidate. RSA is the lender and holds the money we need. Bronner set the terms to protect his investment and either labor ratifies the new accords or the airline will cease to exist.

Our new agreements are bitter pills to digest and no employee likes this situation, but these are the cards we have been dealt.
