These "Allegations" came fresh out of the mouths of SEVERAL Union Brothers in from the nearby Hub. They made it very clear that the outsourcing of the Fleet work in 20+ Stations was a "Trade-off" to keep Catering jobs in THEIR Station, while their Brothers were thrown under the bus. When the "Union boys" along with one of the AGS's came to bid farewell to us, they could not argue the point. All they had to say was "The Company had our backs to the wall, and we could do nothing". I can only hope that some of those Clowns have their jobs along with catering outsourced in the future. Only a very weak and powerless union would permit their memberships jobs to be outsourced. Maybe you to will get screwed a bit more before you see the light... We could have lost our jobs without a Union, and without paying dues while we were tossed out onto the street. Thanks for NOTHING. I can only compare the IAM representation of us to the likes of paying car insurance for years, then being told that you were not covered when your car was wrecked. The IAM Contract was/is Worthless. At least all of those reps and AGC's are still collectiong a $100k+ Paycheck out of our dues payments..

Those "Top Guns" at the IAM had better enjoy the Gravy Train ride for as long as it may last. The IAM has been losing ground and Membership at an alarming rate over the past 4 years. The have lost Thousands to furloughs and Outsourcing, plus those that have booted them out in favor of another Union. It's too soon to tell what the outcome at NWA will be, but if they do merge with DL, the IAM will be gone. If the "NEW" US votes them out, they are pretty much screwed. Who knows, they may even have to take a few "Concessions" themselves to keep the business going.

Nah, he actually did push for the IAM during the elections with the IBT and Steelworkers. The first and second AGCs to come out of PHL were the real die hard IBT guys.

Considering Whom Has Anounced the Meeting,(IBT). It Is The Normal IAM Confused Meeting, that are not Supportive of Shift Workers It is For the 9 TO 5 Average Person and That is not what we Are.We Are The Shift Working AIRLINE industry.remember. I Have Heard That The New Meeting Is For The Next thursday 03 Nov 05. That is How the IAM Continue's to opperate In the Dark. Need Concrete answer's. HEY ALL YOU VETERANS's @ IAM When is the Meeting Here In Phx AZ. Unless your Rep's Can't supply the Info, They Are Famous like a Blister They Show up When ALL the Work is DONE.
Help Us Out VETERANS, The Teamster's ARE NOT AFFRAID TO SHOW UP. & They Do Announce the Meeting's and Advertize also. Where Are THE IAM Rep's? And Where are there supportive Activity's since They Are SO Caring for the Industry
