What's new

Iam Merger Information

It is not rhetoric, go ask your Buddy McMullen, came out of Presti's mouth and McMullen had to apologize because of what Presti said about utility.

If you were in the room, you would have known what transpired.

Schifano jumped down Presti's throat after the deragatory comments he made.

And the attitudes won't change till management becomes more employee friendly.

Same rhetoric. I'm surprised you didn't throw in the "declared war on employees" line.
Listen, we are MOVING FORWARD! New executives, new breath of life out of BK. Get over your hatred in this management. Hopefully there will be change. The new mtc VP's are hearing things. If they react wisely, we may see a change in lower levels. That would give us a chance to let the good worker feel good about doing their jobs. I see the work getting done everyday, just not with good heart. Everybody would feel much better if the same sh_t-house lawyers wouldn't keep coming in everyday ranting the same sh_t everyday.
have no hatred of present management just wary of past deeds...like you say those who neglect to learn from the past are doomed in the future.but how many times have we drank the corporate koolaid now my friend??
since Ed left its been a new program every so many years, new upper's with a vision...change...etc.
and then you decry certain people for being wary once again??
all for turning it around but the proof is in the pudding.i give it time but from past experience i'm cautiously pessimistic  ,no not really....they may turn it around but unless there is a total commitment to issues you and i have outlined it will not work.and it will stagnate as before.i

All I have to ask is "Where's Presti?"
Thank you, MOVE FORWARD!

That wasn't for you Dell,
I don't think you hate. I have been lied to and back-stabbed so many times by managers, that I sometimes wonder why I am so positive. You know what? I am a good worker and I have some good workers who work with me. That's what keeps me positive. I feel that one day we will get what we deserve. The other thing is, I have seen plenty of them come and go. They don't love me so I don't love them. It's that simple. I do what they want, but my way. Sometimes I get burnt, but the reasonable people I work with understand me and the things I do. The rest of them (the sh_t-house lawyers, negative ones, whiners and slackers). They could come and go like the top guys as far as I am concerned.

Same old company, only the bald tires rotated.

And I know Presti is gone, I am the one who posted that Huele was the new VP of MTC.

Read the boards and you will see that.

That is right - but it will be better once your attitude is gone, your attitude will change when you have to start working for a living. In the Company that Parker runs Leads, and Stewards are working members of the unit. Better dust off that tool box.

Gee, I work just like everyone else in the bargaining unit.

I am not a steward nor am I a mechanic.

Don't let the facts get in your way.

Vote for IBT is a vote to outsource all heavy mtc, look at HP, CO, WN (when IBT) and UPS.

And the IAM has not lost any jobs either right??? Oh wait you have how many thousand on furlough ?? The IAM is so special, and has taken such good care of its membership. Ask the Teamsters how ofter the leadership of its union comes down and talks to the members. I do not mean stewards or business agents I mean the Secretary Treasurer, We see our leadership almost every month. Can your membership say that?? Hoffa has even come down to visit with us and more than once. MAYBE THAT IS WHY THE IAM IS ALMOST OUT OF THE AIRLINE BUSINESS.

Lets see the IAM was faced with two bankruptcies in less then two years and yet the scope language is still superior to any of the IBT contracts at CO, HP, UPS and WN (IBT contract now AMFA).

I would say that is pretty darn good myself.

The IAM leadership has an office in PIT and CLT, besides MCI, NYC and DCA.

And yes Mr Roach does come out into the field and visit as does his staff.

Funny the IAM represents over 100,000 Transportation employees, please explain to me how that is almost out of the business.

And the IBT was voted out at WN and NW, your track record is not any better.

Same old company, only the bald tires rotated.

How long has W.F. and F.S. in PIT and the boys in CLT and the other top boys been in the same positions. New attitudes need changed from both sides. You make a good example of it and reinforce my argument. Maybe we need a new set of rubber in a couple of vehicles in the employee parking lot? Not just at the corporate HQ.
Hmmmm?

We are entering a new era(hopefully) here at U. Still lots of cleansing to be done!! Cannot understand why when Hgr1&2 closed and many mechanics and related were furloughed, the majority of Managers, supervisors&support staff(secretarys) were simply transferred to Hgr 5 and positions created? Years ago the facility was run by 1 Manager. I do admit it is a clean hangar though!!!!!

Bottom line is U is still filled with "Spare" tires which need replaced!!

Let see WF and FS were elected by their fellow union members, when was the last time management or the workers voted on who is their boss?

Compare apples to apples, not apples to oranges.

Ok.....post the scope language you are talking of Mr. 700. Better yet start a thread that shows the scope to the world. Wait for it everyone....................can you here the excuses starting........

What has been outscourced since the IBT has been at AWA?

Transportation employees? What about AVIATION employees, Mr. 700.
