IAM Officer Election

The last time it happened was in the 1980s I believe with Jerry Nelson of UAL.

Every ballot has to be anonymous, that is the process, your ballots are never identified, there is only a # on the stub, to ensure the correct # of ballots were casted.

That is why it is called a secret ballot and the process is approved by the DOL.

And anyone running can challenge the results and anyone running is allowed to campaign and make statements.

Last time I checked when you vote in any election they are not suppose to know who's ballot is who's, that is why it is a secret ballot.

One time in the past 25 years? Once?

Boy, that's a process that reflects the will of the membership!
