Its not only frowned upon Kev it isn't permitted. Remember back to you testing for the ramp priveledges? No driving under aircraft or jetways. Technically that even includes the wings ....

Even driving under wide bodies with empty dollies is frowned upon at NW. If you look at our LD7's, the have guards on the side of them so you have to back them up to the loader one at a time.

With the LD3's you can unload them from the side(s), but it's easier just to run paralell (sp?) to the fuselage....
