What's new

Injunction is out

Ah yes, old Jimbo, fair and balanced. I think I will just call you Fox News.
You east guys do give him a lot to work with. Look at how busy you keep me!

When you abandon logic in your arguments and fight with emotion, you get picked off very easily. That's why all you managers have had such an easy time taking you guys apart.

And your hubris. You guys came into this merger telling our MC how you were going to show us how it was done and how you were going to take back this airline. It was your airline after all and you were going to make sure Parker knew it. Remember when Cleary requested the board remove Parker?

I still lmao.

So here we are many years later. Parker has pretty much owned you every step of the way. He's saving $7.5M a week with LOA93 and you've been enjoined. So you guys will now flounder at the bottom of the wage scale for years. No leverage, no future, nothing.

Congrats. The APA hardliners were eventually run out of office and so will the east hardliners.

Nice bed you guys have made for yourselves.

Hey BS - this was you yesterday:

Jim

Did you catch my post the other day from a westie that was posted about a year ago and all wrong? Go add a LOL to that, or are you about out? You use them on just about everything you post. You sure are jolly.

Federal judge issues injunction against Delta Air Lines pilots

ATLANTA — A federal judge Wednesday forbid Delta Air Lines pilots from coordinating efforts to refuse overtime work, a tactic the airline contends the pilots have used to apply pressure during contract negotiations.
U.S. District Judge Willis Hunt Jr. issued a preliminary injunction and gave pilot union leaders until Feb. 26 to explain how they are notifying pilots about the injunction prohibiting the "no-overtime" campaign.

Hunt, who required the Air Line Pilots Association to post notice of his order, also barred pilots from harassing colleagues who accept overtime.

Wednesday's injunction follows the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' reversal of Hunt's December finding that Delta was not legally entitled to an injunction.

Delta, the nation's third-largest carrier, has been forced to cancel thousands of flights since December when some of its 9,800 pilots stopped requesting overtime. Delta and the pilots have been negotiating a new contract since September 1999.

What the heck is going on here? Who DOESN'T have an injunction on them???
You guys are the only ones enjoined right now.

I'm glad you are enjoying it, but I have to point out something. You also have no leverage, no future, no nothing. I hate to break it to you, but we are all in this together and you are also going nowhere fast.

Oh well, at least you get to laugh. It's not cash or upgrades, but it's something.

Now keep it up and maybe you can go back and show Dreaminofclt he was wrong about double digit consecutive profits for AWA and pre's 2005 active pilots.
What part of "I don't do your bidding" is hard to understand - haven't had time to look up "bidding"?

A year ago? Really? You're turning into BS Pi. Desperately tossing out anything and everything. Take some time off, will ya. Come back when LOA 93 is announced. Deep breaths big guy. Your fight is over.

I don't have to I know what it means. I know you don't do "our" bidding, you do the west's. You are their ####. How's that feel?

Delta?

Guess who is in the drivers seat in the issue of Pilots and Management???

Ummm - a tough one. Maybe I'll eliminate parties that AREN'T in the driver's seat - that'll narrow the list down. USAPA - cross them off. Cleary - now that's funny - cross him off. East pilots - I'm laughing so hard I can barely type - cross them off.

As I said last night after I got home and saw that the injunction was out - it won't take long for the usual suspects to try to spin it as a win... Now that's something even a blind man could see coming...

Jim

And the only ones with a group of pilots with a scab heritage continually working with management. Congratulations!
Aren't you guys the ones that keep electing a scab to represent you. And how about the one that speaks for you.

That's two that are CURRENTLY working for your union.

Congratulations!

Swan, you make this so easy. 😀

You really are clueless. It was from a year ago because the guy made predictions about what would happen A YEAR later. I laughed at it and stuck it in a file. Here are his predictions, cause I guess you missed it:

All this fighting, but keep in mind that within twelve months

1. We WILL have a new contract

2. It WILL contain PBS

3. The nic WILL be the list

4. Cleary WILL be gone

5. We won't be paired with the FA's

6. The FO won't be doing the silly east ritual of signing everyone in at the hotel

7. This is NOT your fathers USAir! Get over it!

Not a single thing correct. So, lay out your predictions and I will put them in my BS file and we can laugh at you nest year. Here's mine. We will be right were we are today.
