Some items seem to be missing? But at least it does give a good gauge on the items that are left to discuss.
Rumor here is that the company wants ready reserve in line with DL

How does that work (ready reserve)?
Never mind. Just a quick scan over some previous topics/comments, I found the answer.

They basically got starting pay with no benefits (only flight) and were limited to the amount of hours they worked. When LUS had them they were a minute percentage. The program didn't work for us here and they stopped it. They would come for flight benefits and realize it was easier to buy a ticket on Jetblue. Some of them were really out there and they all looked like Bob

I hope the Association considers any language like that to be a deal breaker...
Using common sense here. If our negotiators were holding firm on "Temps" how do you think they'd react to Ready Reserves?

Leaves me to wonder if the subject would have been brought up if we went for the quick contract?

I doubt it since you guys didn't even really use it and that's why it was taken out for your last contract.

Would be weird to try and reintroduce something so soon and basically by the same set of negotiators on both sides that were there when it was removed in the first place.

That's why I don't fly with "rumors" unless they're from credible sources who've been right in the past.

Depends on what sort of carrot was offered up at the same time...

I very much doubt they have a big enough carrot personally? AND they have no RR at UAL or SWA either. Delta is the only one who flys with that crap on the ramp these days.

This is the art of negotiations. Company comes in with a ridiculous proposal. It is counter proposed by the union. Both parties agree to a compromise or one party concedes; but at what cost? A cost reaped in another Article of the JCBA. This battle will be one the company is willing to concede. For future consideration, on other cost driven Articles, of any future JCBA. IMO!
