Volley ball games are back in season Bob.
Awwww. Next thing you know you're going to say that Bob stays up late watching his video collection of the old Joe Franklin show and needs a new orthopedic pillow for the hemorrhoids.Worldport said:I think its more like macaroni and cheese and a cup of coffee the Macniel/Leher hour then bed.

Tim Nelson said:No they haven't signed it. They need to sign that and start negotiating the big stuff. We don't need to be sweating over the small stuff. And you need to differentiate between the two because you keep saying all of these things are very important. Sure, they are, but we can't keep D*ing around with the small stuff because the company doesn't even have to bother negotiating for 3 more years legally, plus it already caught a lot of the synergies through the cross utilization contained in the LUS contract. That doesn't mean the TWU has to work our metal, from what I understand, but they are in ORD as they picked up our wide bodies here and took over our running of bags. So, although I think management is willing to bring up our pay and some other benefits, I really don't think they are much interested in trying to stuff 10 pounds of potatoes in a 2 pound sack with a thoroughly exhaustive contract. We need to red circle the major issues and cut down the time. A reading of all of my post indicate that if we keep d*ing around hissing over the small items, we may miss our window and be HOSED altogether. Oil is about to cross $50 as it doubled since the CWA/IBT contract, and our European travel revenues are 'goosed'. There is a reason why Parker announced the revenue guidance was scaled back and hammered the stock. If we miss our window, then I'm going to hammer you, and others who are pushing to negotiate an exhaustive contract, and our reps for sure.
People like 700 [who don't even work here] that it's not all about the money. Our AGC"s say the same but they make $120,000 and aren't stuck at $24. Well, folks, we aren't talking about a 2% 50 cent pay raise, we are talking about a 30% pay raise. Yes, it is VERY important. Red circle a few other items, bring in some more stations, and come back and let us vote. And, no, I'm not desperate. I work about 1 or 2 days a week but anytime anyone mentions that the money is important [and it is], you riddle them and talk down to them.
