Ok boys and girls over 3 weeks off, and heading to the shore tomorrow, I'll try to check in you kids from time to time. Everyone fly safe and have fun!!!!!!!!!

all happened long before we aquired AWA.

C'mon Luv, I can agree with some of the things you say, but you lose all credibility when you say something like that. It's right up there with saying the earth is flat and the moon's made of cheese.

The only hope for the west is to take a position east!!!!

Serious question. Why would we willingly leave a west job to move east and live under LOA 93? Why not just wait until the furloughing starts then except a position back east? Seriously, why?

9-piece seems to be the one that's senile, responding to the same posts multiple times in a few hours. And the jester believing that he's the King and can dictate who can post here!!! It's claimed that trouble with memory is a sign of Alzheimer's patients...

"training left and right", huh 9-piece? Care to guess how much training was required in the '91 or '02 furlough? Lots, so don't get training and attrition confused...oops, that's right - confusion is another Alzheimer's symptom...

Did you and those you associate with participate in a representation drive to eliminate USAPA? Did you attempt to recall Cleary and put an end to dis-organized crime in the highest places of USAPA?

If you lock the door to a $4000 car, you don't you try to protect a union from being stolen since that costs you thousands more?

Just because you don't know or like Cleary doesn't mean we don't LOVE him. He absolutely iced the Nic. Did exactly what we wanted. Now we can move on without the junior guys getting screwed. And if APA comes on, how do you try to Nic the 2nd removed
representative from the Nic and try to pin it on it. You couldn't pin it on USAPA, you absolutely have no claim to the APA being beholden to anything ALPA. Yep, Cleary did his job. Just seeing you cry about him affirms it. That dump job on ALPA paid extreme benefits. Best move ever. When this is all said and done, the junior guys will absolutely recoup any and all losses in the early years of this battle. The win is about iced, and the end game will show it was absolutely the best move to suck it up early, and win the war.

The East hiring train is just starting to leave the station. You West furloughed better get on, and that means you Clear. Call your pal Jetz too. He has a choice to make.

Explain how you EARN attrition. Breathing?

Of course not. All things in life are "earned" through whimsical arbitration, are they not? 😉 Seriously; if you need any explanation of EARN....then you'll just never understand the concept anyway, which seems to clearly be the case here.....

Calm down there Gravy Boat Admiral............
Now that's funny.
You know Bean, I have been pool side with a beer and a cigar thinking with guys like you why do I continue to support the junior kids here when none of this effects me. I guess you don't realize the sacrifice I'm making for you.......
Can't you just picture the Admiral pool side with a beer, cigar, and bucket of chicken thinking about all he's done to support the junior kids.

Since the increase is primarily on the 190 (50 new hires, 50 more bodies on the 190), my guess is sorta yes, although not what you'd normally think of as training float - extra bodies throughout the system to cover pilot time lost to training. My guess is that it's to train replacements for the 190 guys/gals so they can go to training when retirements start on the next bid.
Thanks.

Bid 12-04
NET GAIN / (LOSS)
All Equip C RC F RF TOTAL
76I (11) 12 (26) 7 (18)
B737 (6) (6) (6) (7) (25)
A-319 12 9 12 (4) 29
A-330 (13) 17 (30) 40 14
E-190 4 21 4 21 50
TOTAL (14) 53 (46) 57 50

Is this what you all have been waiting for and paying for? Is this the huge growth you have all been talking about?

A shift from 767i to 330 with a loss of 4. a shifting of 737 to 320 with a gain of 4 for a wash. The only "growth" is an increase of 50 on the 190. This is the valuable attrition you scream about? Pathetic.

Sounds to me like they are geting replacements for 737s that are going to go away.

Enjoy LOA93 eastholes...oh...and enjoy that 190, I hear wondeful things about that airplane....your contract you fly in on...not so much.

Ask the westies how their 😀 😀 hiring is going! 😀 😀 😀

Great...I hear 50 pilots will be added at LCC.

Now ask the West how many numbers they moved up on the West list in the last 6 months...a full 6 months prior to age 65 kicking in.

Answere, 15. I am in the top 30% and I moved up 9.

Get it Luv? 15 West pilots either quit, took early retirement or died. i am guessing something to the tune of around 50 east pilots did the same thing in the last year, hence we need 50 newhires on the east.

Well actually the EAST has improvement, the last WEST bid was when? MM! We all don't sit actually!

Um..the West requalified around 40-50 displaced captains in the last 10 months.

Now...it is somewhat of a hollow gain ...getting back a seat that was stolen from you...but hey...they got em back...and the rest of the West is looking for our payback also.

Serious question. Why would we willingly leave a west job to move east and live under LOA 93? Why not just wait until the furloughing starts then except a position back east? Seriously, why?

Bean

Seriously, it was a serious question.
