Did you and those you associate with participate in a representation drive to eliminate USAPA? Did you attempt to recall Cleary and put an end to dis-organized crime in the highest places of USAPA?

I understand your point. And guys like Traderjake and I voted for ALPA and know the difference between right and wrong. Unfortunately politics are often more complicated, especially when the corruption runs so deep. USAPA and our elected reps have expertly grabbed and maintained power through censorship, questionable tactics, fear mongering, and militant peer pressure. The only thing that changed was the union name. The apathy that has run rampant through our ranks for my entire career is alive and well. I believe, and always have, that a decent contract with that includes the arbitrated list would pass by a small margin. Of course with nothing to vote on there is nothing that will change until the courts decide or a merger forces USAPA out. All this talk about massive movement and attrition from the right seat is nothing but internet fodder. I wouldn't get caught up on the meaningless rants of a few of our worst examples of human beings. We are stuck in a waiting game now. Don't believe for a minute that everyone on the east is happy with the status quo.

Sounds to me like they are geting replacements for 737s that are going to go away.

Enjoy LOA93 eastholes...oh...and enjoy that 190, I hear wondeful things about that airplane....your contract you fly in on...not so much.

We are at or very close to min fleet, so all new little bus deliveries are coming east to replace the 737s, just like what happened on the west last year.

I think so people are going to have to tell Gunter he was right and they were wrong. We'll see.

I see...interesting. How long have you had this sad fantasy that voting for alpa amounts to having any even slight inkling as to "the difference between right and wrong"? Thanks for the laugh there. 😉 I had a bunch of those myself...but I never saw any as a magic talisman, capable of conferring any moral certainty.......Quite the contrary in fact.

Given that both yourself and Jake post here; that's about as condescending and cross-threaded as supposed "thought" gets. I'll note that I'm not assigning any responsibility to Jake for your ramblings here. Do those "meaningless rants....of our worst examples of human beings" even conceivably include your own?....Or; does your alpa pin collection fully exempt you from any such consideration? 😉

What a crybaby. Totally in the minority. Everybody else gets it that we killed the Nic cold. That was a huge victory. Cleary made it happen and we thank him every day. You and Traitor can hold your post mortum ALPA meetings in the CLT bag room.

I thought it was obvious. But for the intellectually challenged, I will clarify. ALPA, our ALPA, the one controlled by our pilots, was bad enough. I new that USAPA would only remove any possibility of adult supervision, making a bad situation even worse. I was right.

I was working with some east and west guys towards that. Guess what? The west decided to not support it. What have YOU done?

don't need to steal any job from any pilot at LCC.....have my position and status on the seniority list awarded to me as the result of a binding arbitration.

I am willing to accept the results of that arbitration and retain what is already mine.

Now usapa and the scabs on the east....they are a totaly different story, and there is no "look in the mirror" comparison.

Unlike the scabs at usapa...I am in favor of any east pilot being able to bid a vacancy in PHX and take his/her rightful position at LCC according to their Nic seniority.

Like I recently posted...there are at least a dozen east commuters who live in PHX...I am sure they would like to drive accross town to go to work, rather than fly accross the country to go to work on LOA93.

They would not be stealing anything, and they would be most welcome.

Now compare that attitude with the usapa proposal for the wholesale theft of West jobs.
