June - US Pilots Labor Discussion

Six months plus the as yet unknown degree of certainty of a merger completion makes voting worth everyone's time.

You are missing the fact that the appeals board election was already run, in the same manner it had been run the first time a few years back (when east pilots won it). In this year's first election three former AWA pilots won the appeals board election. Apparently the "union" needed to change the election rules so that it is impossible for former AWA pilots to win the appeals board election and rerun the election.

So, from the vantage point of former AWA pilots, voting in this election is truly a waste of time, as is voting in any ucrapa election. A more vile and corrupt "union" cannot be found anywhere but at ucrapa. Sickening actually.

Ames, once Silver rules, the scabs are going to be tossed to the curb like last weeks trash, so don't let it get you too upset.

Greeter was correct in the intitial speculation that it won't matter in six months. On second thought, s/he was wrong, it just does not matter right now. The scabs days are numbered in far less than six months, and those involved with the illegal union elections, have even bigger worries coming their way.

...And should have held the positions as a result, imo anyway. I can certainly understand your thinking, and I believe, some of your feelings on how things have gone. I'd still offer the thought that casting a vote's logically preferable to not, but..each person must decide what's right for them to do.

The Nic4us postings are getting more psychotic as he realizes this situation is more and more taking a turn in a way he will not like.

CEO Doug Parker said today if a merger with American Airlines is completed that the corporate headquarters would be moved from Tempe AZ to Dallas/Ft. Worth TX. No comment on whether PHX would continue to be a hub...

Check the crew news. He said it would continue possibly increase.

The PHX hub is horribly inefficient. The Franke Air fleet routinely blocks our ramp when the Franke jets wait for gates in huge numbers in PHX. Someone is a poor planner on hub flows and hub operations. I would expect a pulldown of some magnitude.

A waste of time??? You throw your voting rights away because you are so certain West pilots would lose anyway...THAT'S what is sickening.

Driver...

And we wonder why the West loses money for us. Geez I'm not even sure if we could sell them off if we wanted to.

Ya, that PHL hub is the pinacle of efficiency.

Ummm.....They already won once. But that wasn't to your liking, so you just changed the rules. That really is sickening, and you should all be ashamed of yourselves.
