June - US Pilots Labor Discussion

You don't think he's said anything because you refuse to listen if it desn't match your reality. The man pointed out all your losses but in your mind you are a winner. Clown.

The is begging you for forgiveness?

P.S. you are more sexy when you obsess about scabs.

The Ex TWA guys are on a ratified list, just like everyone else.
Ratification is utterly meaningless regarding the Status Quo in RLA. The TA is status quo, the TA is part of both contracts, the Nic. Is cemented in the TA. The Nic IS THE STATUS QUO....at least that's what the company attorneys are finally fessing up to in Federal Court.

Ask the scabs why the part of the TA that requires a joint contract to use the NIC is enforceable yet the part that says the NIC. is our combined list is not.

The reality is that there are only two lists involved should a transaction occur. NIC and APA's.

What's your source for that? I'm curious here, since the guys I know at American believe differently.

Oh yes, one thing.. IF a merger occurs, the terms require the new AA to honor furlough protection for all AA pilots on the property at the time of the transaction. The language further says that the new AA will do its "best" to negotiate similar protection for LCC pilots.

It seems a bit precipitous to be gloating over anything just yet (although doing so affords us all an easy insight into issues of "character"). Your people haven't really met, much less closely observed "team tempe" in action...and you're actually trusting them....!!!??? I find that apparent trust both amazing and most amusing indeed.

Show me one USAPA proposal for seniority that does not "harm" the west pilot group when compared to the Nic award.

They are constitutionally obligated to present a DOH list. Why aren't the east pilots suing USAPA for not pushing the company to accept a DOH list regardless of cost or loss?

Oh, right, because USAPA's nexis of power lies in the No Bump No Flush provision of the TA which rewards doing nothing.

Eastie scum at their finest:

In my opinion, the last six-weeks at USAPA have been a refreshing dose of open communication, progress and long-term vision.  This all came about as the result of a couple of elections, in which the Line Pilots decided that new faces and new ideas were needed; they were correct!

Now, we are in the midst of yet another election of significance and I urge the Line Pilots to continue their quest to clean house.  Sunshine is a marvelous disinfectant.

It is not the job of the Compass Correction to tell the pilots for whom to vote. When we come into possession of legitimate and verified information that might help one decide how not to vote…that is a different matter.

On Friday, June 01, current Appeal Board member and candidate for re-election, Tracy Parrella, made the mistake of leaving a voicemail message on the personal cell phone of a certain Member of the Board of Pilot Representatives.  In that message, Parrella was reaching out to any PHL based pilot who might sign on as the author of a complaint that she, (Parrella) had just written. This Board Member’s name is alphabetically proximate to her intended recipient.  This was Parrella’s explanation, when the predicable phone call from our Board member ensued!

The complaint was written to the Appeal Board and was a claim that the Compass Correction had unduly and illegally influenced the PHL Domicile Vice Chairman election, recently won by Jamie Weidner. The intention was to overturn the election results and to get a re-run.

The complaint, to be filed on behalf of Paul Music, was the work of Parrella and she was shopping for an “author”. The reason is obvious; even she was not so arrogant as to write a complaint that would ultimately be ruled upon by the lady, herself!  To my knowledge, Paul Music himself, had no complicity in this and probably didn’t know what Parrella was up to.

In that complaint, she was clever enough to implicate her two fellow Appeal Board members in the “illegal” election manipulation, in the hopes, I guess that they would recuse themselves.  That would leave the author herself, alone to rule on the legitimacy of a complaint that she had just written.

In case any readers are thinking this is just hearsay; the whole episode was outlined by the Board Member who received the errant call from Parrella.  He did so in open session, to the rest of the Board….ask around.

This kind of nonsense has got to be eradicated, as best we can; let’s start with the ongoing Appeal Board election, shall we?

I don’t know Patrick O’Neill, but he has my vote.  He is a PHX based guy, with a good reputation.  However, in light of the shenanigans of Mr. O’Neill’s opponent….

Ladies and Gentlemen, please finish the job of cleaning house.

Fraternally,

Because trusting USAPA and the east is so much smarter, right east?

LMAO!

What's the matter? His answer unnerve you? Way to jump all over him.

THAT is what you "understood" from that exchange? Sigh!...Some are evidently too wasted, or just too simply brain-dead, to apparently comprehend even the part about furlough protection being exclusively for the American pilots...and you're evidently enthusiastic about that? = "LMAO!"...? Sleep it off....or at least ask the doctor about a different medication protocol....unbelievable...

Speaking of brain dead - your undying love of all things USAPA is still in full swing. I sooner trust the company before any east scum.

I wonder how Tracy's diabolical plan is coming along?

Do the East and West pilots interface on ANYTHING at all presently? No, that is a clear indication the Nicolau list has never been implemented. It cannot be implemented until there is a joint East West contract. That is never going to happen now. So the seniority list that will be used is the East, the West, and AA. You have to have a joint CBA to get the Nicolau, and that is now not going to happen. Therefore, 3 lists.
What the T/A says is a joint contract. It does not say a joint east west contract. So when APA negotiates a contract for the us airways pilot that will be a joint contract. Implementing the Nicolau list. The APA will be the bargaining agent for the seniority integration. The Nicolau will be ratified. Therefore there will only be 2 lists. Nicolau and the APA.

Do you think the APA give a rip about what list is or is not implemented during contract negotiations? They will just want to get us all to a single contract and worry about integration later.

The label "Scab" is always offensive when inappropriately used, but oddly more offensive at some times, more so than others. Simply loud mouthed punk would be more temperate.
