Uncle Fester

Gee, I was thinking a bear got you up there. Why don't you go give them another shot.

To bad ... brat is disappointed again. Just keep sitting in that punkin patch and the Great Pumpkin will surely be along sooner or later to grant all your wishes. I'm sure the tooth fairy will be along to take those baby teeth you lost last week as well. You might even get a quarter each for them....

Jim

PS - up here you don't go into the back country without a little protection. A 44 should at least frighten the bears off...

A little outside the 5-yr time frame I mentioned, but ok. So how did this positively affect the west FAs who accepted DOH because it was mandated by AFA merger policy? The east AFA was adamant about not seeking to buffer the effects of a DOH merger on the west FAs. Giving the senior east FAs a seasonal pass to the country club that used to be their job might help furloughed FAs return on an ad hoc basis, but as I recall there were no west FAs on furlough at the time of ther merger (but I could be wrong about that).

You also seems to miss the point that USAPA's foot dragging has not put money in any AFA member's pocket. A junior FA can try to explain solidarity and principle to the guy reposessing their Kia, while the senior mamas try to decide if they want to spend another month out in Aruba.

Well, thanks for asking that question...because many of the senior work force left on theVFLR on the East, as well as many on the regular VFs that extended their time beyond 6 months ended up not coming back and going right into retirment, allowed for the West f/a seniority to be on a more even footing being that the seniority span between the two group was closer.

. Nic4 is long departed.

Yep......

Dearly beloved...we gather here today, to discuss who is the most clueless scab of the usapa bunch.....

is it Claxhole, with his disjointed posts of fiction? An ex-employee who could not cut it, and sought to leave due to the frustration of learning his career was totally in the shiitter?

Maybe it is Luv9, who thinks there would be three airlines in a merger of two?

no, today's most cluless usapa scab is Dimwitt Inbred, who in his incredibly naive letter highlights many reasons we can all dismiss him as an uninformed idiot. Dimwitt writes that the pilots gave 10 billion in concessions to "save THIS airline". Wrong Dimwitt, the former east pilots made concessions to save the airline THIS airline BOUGHT. Further, it is the stated position of THIS management that they, not you, saved your job. Now run along and thank them by staying on the sub-par wages and work rules you have so eagerly scabbed to get.

One can easily imagine the heroic briefing scene as you steel your fierce back country men to sally forth......

Keep up, FestUS. A union represents everyone. Go write that on the chalk board 100 times.

Oh, c'mon luvn....that is sooo old school.

Get with the times...a union is supposed to negotiate seniority like crew meals, and trade away improvements to pay and benefits for a cost neutral contract to do the same.

Indeed. So, you want "seniority" to be based on fairy dust and fantasies, eschewing all traditional and even slightly sane standards for establishing it? Ok. No worries then about being very much with the times and in tune with contemporary lunacy within the airline pilot realm. Enjoy all that "What's in it for MEEE?" philosophy truly ever brings to you 😉 Just a minor observation regarding that philosophy; It's readily apparent that neither you, nor the most vocal few from your group routinely posting, are much in the way of happy people enthusiastically enjoying life......just sayin'.

Same old complaint.

Look at the last 15-20 mergers and tells us what method was used? Was it closer to the method used in out integration or was it your "sane standards" of DOH? As you said being very much with the times. You are right it is the times, DOH has been left in the past and part of history. Could it be you are stuck in the past? Get with the times.

Oh I know the argument. It is not fair, it's not tradition, it's not what I want. Sure sounds like it is you that is saying it is all about meeeeeeee.

...fairy dust and fantasies?.....um, no, I would like to see seniority based on .....get this......Seniority.

As to how one establishes seniority.....the traditional method would be to look at the position and status one holds within their company, as that is what defines seniority in the first place.

Whats in it for MEEE...should be commensurate to what was in it for me the day before the merger.

The only people in this fiasco seeking gains at others expense are the usapian scabs willing to undercut their coworkers to advance themselves in seniority.

Still dreaming of jumping ahead of everybody, wait your turn now!!!!

Looks like a military briefing to me...uniforms, patches, "underlings" being lectured by their "superiors", etc. Isn't the backdrop that of the last ship you served on, swabbie? That bulging carotid arterey sure looks like you...

Jim

So Luv...how many airlines would need a contract in the proposed LCC/AMR merger?

Go lecture one of your usapa scab buddies about jumping the line.

Still dreaming of jumping ahead of everybody, wait your turn now!!!!
Same old argument.

What you never explain is how does a junior west FO that continues to be a junior FO using the Nicolau jump ahead of someone?

Yet using DOH were a furloughed east pilot jumps ahead of a west captain not waiting you turn.

Seniority is your position. If you are 110% on a stand alone east list how do you go to 50% on a combined list? Wait your turn.

Tell us.

How much "seniority" did Dean Colello have at the time of the merger?

Who has a fantasy of going from furloughed to captain because of the merger?

Wrong again about me waiting for the great pumpkin, but why take the time to listen when can slam everyone that used to share a cockpit with you, right.

Make sure your. 44 doesn't jam.
