What Contract and Transitional Agreement do you work under breeze? What implements the NIC per current contract with THE COMPANY?

I think (from my understanding) that the TWA pilots got a crap deal. I feel the same way about the Empire pilots, for the most part.

It's a bummer that "Team Tempe" chose to shrink the West more than the East (relative to original size) and with furlough protection for AA a given, we both may very well see more of the same, post merger.

As I'm sure Parker would tell us all, "nothing personal, it's just the business reality of the situation", but then we all knew that when we first got in to this "God forsaken" business.

I figure the AA boys will be the same way. They will mostly want to fence off their current guys and protect their attrition coming up.

My personal opinion is that Parker has been none to happy with the west for standing up for itself. Yes, it's provided him a way to save x number of millions per year as we go at it, but I think he'd have been happier with that cost neutral in exchange for doh that Seham was originally touting.

As far as reading tea leaves with this or any other crew news, who knows. I know I don't. But I do feel as if he would have been just as happy if the west had of been defenseless, and that in and of itself is 'exasperating' for him.

It was a cost neutral SLI , not a cost neutral contract!!!!!

As was my Mother, regarding medical school...but hey, we were young......Seriously though...one has to admit to a lot it being some pretty good times...

While we can easily joke about it: As this took an old man down memory lane for a moment's honest reflection....Ya' know Zone...Were we given passage with Mr. Peabody in the Wayback machine; There's a number of "What was I thinking"!!??" moments in life I'd change actions on...but; the "running off to join the flying Circus" bit?...well...without any thoughts as to any airline stuff at the time anyway....I wouldn't have missed that ride for the world. I have to agree with you on this Otter, he will play us to his advantage as much as he can. So where does that leave you with all your NIC legal hopes and dreams?

Maybe he has played his poker game as best he can.....but right now, the cards are looking good for the future and USAPA is the "only" agent who is working our future with the APA boys.

I really hope you West boys fair well, however, I still stand for what is right, and it will all shake out in the end. Call us scabs for standing up for what is right, but karma is always right in the end.

Parker is going to succeed in his quest......I will be there to retire and enjoy it with him.
