You have my earnest sympathies sir. Consider getting a real bike or car someday 😉

useast1...can't resist but my back and butt will knowingly agree that I have a real bike after the 200+ miles I'll ride. While some will just get warmed up wanting to ride just to impress their drunken bar buddies... 😉

Come join us sometime..Please try and keep up because Bluetooth range goes only so far, fool... 😛

Congratulations! You can have DOH with TWA and I will take my relative position. Everyone is happy.

Most telling indeed. 😉 Translation = Zero honest concern evidenced for methods, ethics, etc...just so long as you "get yours" to the best possible level of personal advantage....? How truly shocking indeed 😉

Actually...the ride sounds like good fun and the invitation's honestly appreciated...ummm...what you're talking here though, still isn't any "real bike" issue, but one of the little concerns attending our personal antiquity = back and butt wear and tear after any 200+ these days...I'll admit it 😉

No matter...'tis better to ride and ache than not ride at all. Have a good one this weekend 😉

Looks like USAPA has earned the company's respect.

Chairman DiOrio concluded that presently the Company's position is that they are negotiating with the APA, and anything we want, we have to go through APA.

Oh wait, no they haven't.

LMAO
It gets even funnier, they think usapa will be around for the sli.

Well, I see the usual lying, scum suckig mental midgets from the east have been out in force today...I smell the scent of desparation from east of the Mississippi way up here in Alaska...

Jim

Heading up to my true home Alaska first week in July to hopefully sleigh the copper river reds...Hope you spare/save some for me and my freezer...

What is the problem? The east argument is that you have stood line and waited and your integrity would not allow you to step in front of someone in that line. The American pilots have been waiting a long time and of course they are a legacy carrier not some commuter. So you guys would not want anything you had not earned right by cutting in the American line.

So American set up a second line for the TWA pilots. You can slide right in there next to the 1980-1985-1990 guys and feel right at home. You can say you got DOH and there is no big difference in LOS like with the Nicolau. Now granted you will end up next To a 2001 real American pilot.

A TWA guy hired in 3/89 is number 8900. But I am sure that with the base protection that you will get that should not be a problem unless you leave CLT or PHL. I know APA could offer you the same C&R that usapa offered the west. As long as you stay in your corner of the world you might be ok, just ask the TWA guys in STL. Now if the company shrinks or closes the base good luck.

You guys want to use DOH here it is right next to the TWA boys I am sure they will welcome you in senior to them and you all can commiserate together.

A real American pilot with a hire date of 3/89 is around 2800. A TWA with a hire date of 3/89 is around 8900. What you east boys have been saying is that the west came to your list and we would have to wait. So I guess you would be going to the APA list and could not cut the line. After all you never had an expectation of flying 125 WB aircraft out of DFW or MIA. Stay in CLT and hope for the best. Don't forget to give those furloughed APA pilots credit for all of their DOH.

1) "So you guys would not want anything you had not earned right by cutting in the American line." "What is the problem?" None that I can see with that thinking....Your actual mileage may vary though.
2) That would be appropriate, although I'm "sure" that all the APA folks would much, much rather place you ahead of as many of their people as they possibly can 😉

Ah, someday. Someday we will really be living once we retire and visit far away places. I mean heck any where but CLT has a better Internet connection to this forum.

Guess again. From a personal perspective?...All this could blow away in the wind tomorrow and life would go on quite nicely 😉 I'll not be around airline stuff long enough to much care, from any purely selfish viewpoint, about the american deal at all. Don't forget to truly dazzle them all with all that "Cactus Stuff" though...and most especially...make certain you let them all know how you "saved" them, that you're truly "special", deserving of absurdly inflated "seniority", and that the miserable ingrates should be thrilled just to have their jobs. 😉

Good Luck

PS: I'd thought we'd already discussed your "interesting issues", via projecting your "thoughts" on others...and actually believing them to be valid....? 😉

Nope eastus1, your not going to get me down...like you seem to be lately. I lived through much more and continue to this day to not count on...usapa...alpa..apa and the company to do what's right... = AOL

Guess it goes with what you and I brought..nothing more and nothing less....

BS, complete and total BS. "what you and I brought", as was the case with all concerned, was nothing more than ourselves....period!

I'm still waiting to see the first video of an AWA pilot, heroically struggling against raging wind, rain and storm, "bringing a job" up some treacherous mountainside. Show me that...and we'll talk 😉
