Hello everyone! I have a question that I hope someone can answer. But first, let me give you a little background before the question.
I had an interview for a flight attendant position at Newark Liberty International Airport a few days ago. There was 16 of us at the interview. Before the interview process officially began, we had a recruiter talk to us about the job of a flight attendant and the interview process before we had to do a group activity and individual interviews. The recruiter had told us that after our individual interviews we had to wait in the lobby until an escort took us back to the airport.
So like the recruiter said we had our individual interviews and then waited in the lobby. While I was in the lobby I talked to two other people about our interviews. I told them that the interviewer told me I would be contacted by e-mail in 5-7 days. They told me the interviewer told them they'd be contacted by e-mail later. One person was told two weeks, the other person was told four weeks.
I guess my question is: What does this all mean? Does it mean no one is being hired because no one had a second interview that day? Or am I not supposed to know about the second interview? Are second interviews supposed to be "secret" to a select few? Also, why was I told 5-7 days when the others were told two weeks and four weeks?
I would appeciate any insight any of you have!
