I cannot speak for H1B visas, but I can honestly say that my company is starting to "onshore" work. Getting a degree is all fine and well but, one should do some research and make sure there is actually a market for said degree before putting in the time and expense to earn one. Let's be honest here, not all degrees have the same prospects of employment.
