1 mainline cancellation for the day (an early am DCA-PIT flight)
Depts Skd:0 77%
Depts Skd:5 88%
Arrs Skd:14 94%
These will change since PHL and LGA were both showing Dept Delays and LGA has a limited ground stop, but otherwise looking good. :wacko:

As far as holiday performance, In my dept. I saw no need for any management personnel to accomplish this feat.
With all the employees that have been let go we only have the most senior employees left, and they probably woud not know what to do if not guided by some kid with less than two years exp.

Hey Tad.......I wsa going to post some numbers for yesterday and today, but I thought I would get accused of pushing the kool-aid.
Here are the stats for Sat and Sun.....you guys are awesome! I think this was one of the best Thanksgiving Holiday performances that I can remember.
Saturday: Booked to over 190,000 system wide.
Zero Mainline Cancellations
Departure performance:
Sked:0 - 66% Sked:5 - 79% Sked:14 - 90%
Sunday: Booked to over 225,000 system wide.
One Mainline Cancellation
Departure performance:
Sked:0 - 74% Sked:5 - 85% Sked:14 - 92%

We are and have always been the best in the business....
I think your more delighted in the traffic on U, and that it was uneventful. As far as employees, no matter what you dish out...we can catch it. That should be no surprise to management.

Maybe I am more delighted with our performance then you, but I would care the wager that many of the employees reading this will be just as excited and proud of their efforts.

We only had 6 mainline cancellations over the 5 days and 3 zero cancellation days.

Really, they are great stats. I wonder if we did this every single day, if it would make a difference to management at all in their perception of where we are and the bottom line, and specifically their perception of the employees who should not be sacrificed on any level.

Just finished a four day trip. 4 legs day 1, 5 legs day 2, 3 legs day 3, 5 legs day 4.
Combined load factor for my pairing was 79%, on time departures- 100% (all early), arrivals were 100% (all 11-17 minutes early)!

As of 8pm on Monday, 0 cancellations again today. Did we make it thru the rest of the night without one at mainline?
PS- I was accidentally in the Express partition when I first signed into Decs today and did an XI entry and about fell out of the chair when they all came up. I quickly realized what had happened, but it gave me a chill there for a minute to see all of them. :down:

Yep, we made it all day Monday with no Mainline Cancellations. One more day of zero cancellations and we tie last years record.
Wish the same could have been said about express! Dang! That is outrageous!
