From what I understand the mechanic''s just voted in AMFA 64% for 36% against.

WAY TO GO AMFA / UNITED! Now it's time for the mechanics at AA / TULSA to get on board with the line stations. Sign a card and THROW the TW-(EWE) off the property.

This is great news. UAL is out of the woods now, right?

Well nobody can say that AMFA is a puny union with no resources anymore.

I believe that they now represent more aircraft mechanics than any other union.

All of your dues will now go towards mechanics issues.

You will also have the right to vote on your own representation from top to bottom.

You guys have won accountability and Democracy!

Maybe some day AA will join you. Not only do we not get to vote on who negotiates and signs our contract, we no longer even have the right to reject it!

Good luck and congratulations to our brothers at UAL!

Maybe they were CONFUSED. The IAM has that affect, sometimes.

Im still interested to see how AMFA handles things at NW now that their asking for concessions? Anyone want to make any predictions?

No UAL isnt out of the woods yet.AMFA being voted in hasnt anything to do with it,but
we have exercised our right to have the representation we want.

Congratulations!I now hope the mechanics at US use this as an incentive for change.

Maybe the IAM will try to have a re-vote, just in case you were confused!

(Best wishes to the United AMT''s from a UsAirways AMT)

As of two weeks ago,54%.They hope to file at the end of July. They want 60% before they do.

I wish everyone at USAir good luck.I hope AA and DL follow suit.Maybe oneday we could
have one big happy family with a national contract.
