As one of the 500, I can emphatically say that you are seriosuly misreading our resolve.

So what's your Plan B if the USAPA fails to unseat ALPA? You'd never put all your eggs in one basket, would you?

My Plan B entered the docket of the federal court system about 3 years ago. (These courts are notoriouly slow.) ALPA has probably about a dozen lawsuits pending against them right now, most from various factions of USAirways pilots. ALPA will probably be bankrupted by one or more of these suits in the next few years. ALPA's liability far outweighs the limits of their insurance if any one of these lawsuits finds for the plaintiff.

My Plan B is that there will be a new union on the property within two years. Maybe it will be named USAPA. Maybe not. But ALPA is in its death throes and anyone paying even a modicum of attention would see that. Of course, this excludes those who are incapable of paying a modicum of attention.

Plan B? I hope East pilots merely see USAPA as plan C. (A and B being outside the industry)

But no worries, If Plan C fails then we have the personal assurance of Prater that ALPA will be nice to us... and his assurance is worth every bit as much as it is "Woerth." (Duane that is)

We are on Plan B, do nothing. We are better off without the Nicholau award so it will never be implemented. It is past history. We now have moved on and "=PAY4=Work" is coming your way.
We are taking back our union one way or another...

The US Airways MEC has been notified there will be new hire pilots this fall. The initial cadre will be coming from the AWA per-merger pool.

Junebug, how are the AWA MEC efforts going to obtain a pay raise? I'm sure almost every East pilots would support the AWA MEC in Section 6 negotiations. Why don't you start Section 6 discusssions?
