MORE NO SHOWS FOR PILOTS

Make sure you tell the folks you're selling the USAPA idea to, that they'll need to keep at a minimum $2-3K set aside for cash assessments to cover legal and administrative fees. Assessments, which if not paid, will (not may) result in the loss of their jobs.

The best of luck, we're all counting on you.
In 20 years of flying that included 4 airlines, I have yet to see a pilot fired for not paying union dues. They got lots of threat letters but never termination.

Not sure about the pay rates, on the pay scales it's listed 25/hr. BUT from what has been sent out, those from MDA/CEL I believe are getting the standard 36k/yr that was in effect back in '99 when they last hired. So who knows...

On day ONE, when USAPA becomes the new bargaining agent, the banks will line up to offer credit because on that day USAPA would then have the exhorbitant ALPA dues money coming THEIR way.

The number I've heard is that ALPA collects about $11 million a year from AAA pilots in dues with the 1.95% rate. USAPA estimates that they can operate a better union at about 1%. (Which is about what the other independent pilot unions charge for dues.) All USAPA needs to do is take the credit line to get the offices up to speed, and when the notes are paid off, reduce the dues to 1%. Probably in a year or less.

ALPA has nothing to sell but fear. (And they conveniently sell themself as THE solution for that). Just like our friends that are afraid of loosing ALPA windfalls... they know how to talk "fear" too.

Maybe we are looking at a future Prater... and didn't even know it.

Nark you are so dense! There was no stapleing done at all. Your furloughed rather UNEMPLOYED were not coming back and never had a chance to outside this transaction and you know it. Your crack management team had no exit plan NONE!! Look at the award Nark and do something basic, COUNT!! If you were not UNEMPLOYED at the time the number of pilots below you is the same number below the west guy right next to you. If you people could count you would see this...

Actually, I, as well as Mr. (to you) Lakefield, completely disagree with you.

US was a viable carrier until your Dougwieser came on the scene.

The east pilots have a plan with several backups, one or more will be executed, and, since you and your moronic leaders are content to fondle their lottery tickets, we will likely operate separately, one way or another. Get used to it. Be certain to preserve those lottery tickets so you can show your grandchildren what might have been.
