What are symptoms of motion sickness and how do you cure it? I mean, does the feeling get worse when you're taking off or landing? Is it normal for it to semi-dissepate when you reach cruising level?

Symptoms include dizziness, nausea (and puking!), fatigue, and loss of color.
I think it can feel worse during take-off and landings. Low level clouds and winds can create turbulence and then the airplane can get bounced around a bit. At cruise altitude it "usually" is the smoothest. Now, if there is a line of storms from Maine to Florida then you are S.O.L.
About 80% of people that puke (on my flights) did NOT eat that day. Just because you are flying it doesn't mean change your eating habits. If you are up at o dark thirty eat SOMETHING. You won't be hungry but force a bagel down to soak up those stomach acids.
