I have arather strange question.
I'm working on a novel and have a character flying from New York (JFK) to London Heathrow.
My question is this: if a flight is scheduled to leave JFK at 10am and arrive in Heathrow at 10pm, but there is a several hour delay (say, with a new departure time of somewhere from 1 to 3pm from JFK and a new expected arrival of 1 to 3am in London) will the flight actually occur?
I suppose I'm asking if it's is realistic for Heathrow to accept an incoming flight (under the circumstances of a delayed flight) between midnight and 5am? (when arrivals are usually not scheduled)
