tell you what chief two years from now when you are still waiting for your 4% come back with your sunny side up. scheduled to work ANOTHER holiday havent had a holiday off in three years. and i get a whopping $144.00 to be there.

these fools should have been working on merging the contracts for the last six months instead nothing. the set up the first "official" meeting July 6th they should have been meeting since the beginning in "anticipation" of the association being approved. kind of being proactive instead of reactive. im so tired of the company saying we want to negotiate but YOU are not ready. and no we are not ready. regardless of who represents us they should have been banging on the door, but nope there is no urgency.....

Some of these threads on Forums are a real waste of time with the individuals who continue to write the same blah blah blah over and over.
Case in point this one.
Then don't waste your time reading through them. We have different groups within the same loser association with different issues. M&E has many issues. Your ramp has has their own. I believe there is a topic just for the ramp union members.

You should also look at a CAL AMT. They are one company and still no jcba. AA could use the lower of the two based on same company and union even though still negotiating after 5 years.

Buck,
UA is still talking. Like us when it became amendable the annual scale increases stopped. I believe US/IAM has a provision to maintain whatever the scale increase was in effect beyond the amendable date.

Latest update from UA/IBT - so much for Teamster Power

UAL/CAL/CMI Mechanics Negotiations Update - June 5, 2015

As previously reported in the Dispatch, mediated talks have not been going well. As a result the negotiating committee requested of the Division that all possible legal pressure be brought to bear on the Company to move these talks forward. The first planned event will take place at the annual shareholders meeting at Willis Tower in downtown Chicago on June 10th at 8am. The event will include a demonstration and hand billing prior to the meeting, followed by attendance of the meeting, to demand an industry-leading contract now.

That will get their attention. Saying we demand a raise always works!   Bashing the ibt should be blasphemy for a twu zealot since they did save your bacon 2 years ago.

It does not matter what the wage is for Delta, so much as what +7% means...
