You might want to contact your employers Employee Assistance Program and talk with someone about your anger management issues. You are obviously struggling with many issues. A little therapy might help you cope.

Redeem them for travel on other *A carriers - US has to pay for those tickets, admittedly at a discounted rate but still quite a bit more than the incremental cost of carrying you on US metal.

Are they your miles or the "firms" miles?
The miles go to the person whose name is on the ticket, assuming they belong to the DM program. Who pays for the ticket doesn't matter - try buying a ticket for a relative and getting the miles for yourself.

In his defense, US1YFARE use to be a VERY pro US Airways customer who defended US until he couldn't take anymore! I watched him and other faithful customers go from supportive and nice to vengeful and mean. This didn't happen overnight. He and others have tried to reason with the unreasonable and have been lied to time and again. Before many bash him, think about how you feel yourself as an employee concerning US Airway. I have read things just as bad from fellow employees. The sandflees have ruined TWO airlines and made both a joke. I can't blame US1YFARE for ANYTHING he says. The FF relationship is like any other human relationship. Many times when you break up, you loathe that person and want to hurt them. Time heals and after awhile US1YFARE will just realize US Airways is no longer worth the time to type the name US Airways, must less think of them or fly them. That moment will be freeing for him and the many that now just want to bash US management because of their sheer incompetence and stupidity. US1YFARE is better off without you, but the "new" US Airways should only dream of such customer loyalty and for THAT, I applaud my friend, US1YFARE!!!

The penny and nickle approach and continual chasing away of our most FF's is OLD! Trying to be all things to all customers is OLD!! Either be full service or all coach!
 
I was looking @ ATW's World Airline Report and noticed that US has on order same type aircraft with different engines, it shows 10 330-200 with P&W's and 15 330-200 with RR's, it's the same with the smaller Airbus's CFM's and IAE's. Would it not make it more cost efficient to go with one engine supplier vs two?

It would be 9 A330-300's with the P&W's and this is the one of the few times I will defend US Airways Management, but IIRC (I am not in the industry) I remember reading somewhere they were not thrilled with the P&W Engines. Weren't the east CFM's and the west IAE's?
 
The East A330s all have PW engines, the East A320 Family has CFMs.
 
Well then maybe they where saying the are not going to INDOC it until Monday or Tuesday. That was the word from PIT MX this morning.
