New City Announcement

It is Friday night, where is that CLE announcement? I got some family there that can't wait.

I think most of you are too young to remember, right after deregulation, Braniff added 43 cities overnight. Funny, I don't see Braniff around any longer. It costs a lot of bucks to open a new city. Sure hope your low fares can pay for it.

I wish you guys would announce OKC....The flight loads out of there have been crazy

:unsure: 😉 :unsure: i remember it vividly, i was flying for Pan Am at the time and many thought it was terrific.. Poor Braniff, great airline, even greater employees. I'm a big fan of JB and hope they don't meet the same fate.BACK on the subjecy, does anyone have an idea of where it is? I can't believe CLE or OKC are on the radar, it definitely would be a waste of resources.Im rooting for MIA or somewhere in MEXICO!!!

what do the flight loads being crazy have to do with making money?
You are probably the one who says my family will fly B6 once a year OKC-JFK and wow that would be a real moneymaker for them 😉

B6 will also announce Tulsa, Fargo, and Butte tomorrow 😉

===========================================================

Daisy,

I think JFK/Butte-Fargo will be interesting to watch, since butte and fargo are NW territory.
(NW has a loooong history of defending their turf)

Time will tell.
(It ALWAYS DOES)

NH/BB's

CMH-JFK and CMH-BOS will be announced Friday morning.

Make that Thrs AM

All this talk about CLE on this thread... Wouldn't announcing service to two CO hubs in such a short period of time shake the hornets' nest?
