You have to "purchase" your new uniform?

You have to purchase extra items. There will be an allotment for each employee. You purchase when you go over the allotment.

The HP flight attendant program gives us a $150 allowance each year for replacement. Unless you have to buy a coat, it usually goes pretty far.

I believe they are still negotiating this...... HP had a "system", and US just used to replace things when you needed it....

Agreed! Some of the "men" may need some help in selecting their uniform pieces of choice. 😱 As for me, I had a piece of celery last week, and I am positively stuffed.

Did that piece of celery have peanutbutter on it? 😀 😀

I'm glad to know that there are 2 types of jackets for guys.

I prefer the short jacket with zipper, so I'll be ordering that with the mock turtle.
I can't wait to see them. 🙂

I thought the mock turtle looked very classy with the blazer, but more comfortable than shirt and tie.

As far as Itestwell goes, did you put salt on that celery? You must have because your bra is leaving deeper marks in your back these days--since you aren't eating, you must be retaining water!

I only know of 25 gals that could fit in that uniform. Is this a way to get rid of the senior gals...A new way to get the senior gals off the books and bring the new hires making 16 an hour and on food stamps on the books. They can't afford to eat so this was smart thinking on TEMPE's Part.

Shhh, you can't poke fun at US Airways flight attendants... they are to be held in high regard. Didn't you know that they were fighting like Norma Rae for the rights of the common worker even as they held the enviable position of USAir stewardess? This was the most coveted position in the industry, children dreamed of one day making it to the big city of Pittsburgh and boarding a flight for Binghamton...
