Lighten up Francis. No one knew that the NMB was going to finally make the ruling last Friday. They are planning a trip your way very shortly, like I said next week.

Don't tell us to be patient!!! We pretty much know we are about to be A$$ raped and we are nervous about our future and BTDT is correct. The IAM knew this was going turn out this way. I think they are just worried that the westies aren't going to be precious little lap dog union members for them. I have sais it once before, it is time for the IAM to put up or shut up. Cost Neutral is unacceptable and any transition agreement that involves me losing a dime is BS. Tell me to be patient? GET BENT!!!

We were fighting for higher wages than what us airways east currently has, more vacation time than what the east currently has, more sick time than what the east currently has, more holidays than what the east currently has. Pensions are dead. Its an old system. 401k with a good company match is better and its mine. The company can not take it away. Congrats iam lovers. We wanted everyone to enjoy getting paid a full days pay for being sick, not half a days pay. 7 paid holidays vs. the iam 5. 3 weeks vacation for 5 years of service or more. Your c checks were not going anywhere. I get tired of hearing this we won, we won, from the iam members at US east. You just lost. If we at America West do not feel good about what has just happened, and the fact that we have not seen a single person from the IAM here in Phoenix, it is because we are set to lose a lot and you were to gain. Why would l be on suicide watch, l have been blessed with a beautiful 5 month old baby girl who is awesome! l will know unfortunatly see less of her if l lose a week of vacation that l just earned for being here 5 years. Here's hoping the IAM gives you east guys more vacation, holidays, sick time, and pay in that transition ageement. JAZSOP

You really need to lighten up. OF all people that shoudn't be telling anyone to lighten up. I said before, I have read you posts. Some good, some bad, you have had your say and told people to put you on ignore if they didn't like it. Fair is fair, you can rant and vent, stands to reason that I can too. Maybe today is just a bad hair day, if I had any; who knows what tomorrow will bring?

By the way we have a 401k match and a 3% DCP plan which the company cannot take away. We have a 401k match also, I don't know if that will be affected in any way or not, have to wait and see, but I think it is safe. We do not have the DCP plan, look forward to see what is offered.

The Transition Agreement will tell all and as the IAM shows its colors I can see that a lot of east techs that put cards in late last time or were on the fence to try to save their pension may need help to find the info. they need later. B)

Iam a IAM member now and will stay involved with union matters as a good union member should BUT!! I WILL NOT BE A IAM/IBT/AMFA UNION SHEEP. I HAVE A VOTE AND WILL USE IT!
