What's new

Obama Bows to Muslim King !

actually i think in their culture that's considered a sign of respect ....

but no , i guess your right , we americans shouldn't respect other cultures when we aren't in our native land ...

everything must be like it is in america , people should speak our langage and serve us the food we like when we are in their respective countries ....

OH come on, really?

Bush held the hand of the King of S.A., does that make him gay? No. It's a sign of respect. Seems to me if you are negotiating with someone and want something from them, pissing them off is not a good option.

Bowing to a muslim King , is a sign of submission. Great communication skills "O' Annointed One"!

Was the Queen of England not worthy of a bow !
That is rich.

Someone complaining that our current President has a problem with communication skills?

You really need to find something to hold, and hold tight...

"communication skills" may have been a poor choice of words, but, figured that is what you would key in on Tech.

Correct Presidential Protocol with a foreign leader may have been a better way to say it. Either way, You know he is correct, and, what he meant.

You try to portray yourself as such an impartial, understanding person, and with your glowing posts showing your "broad knowledge", and "open-mindedness", But, I was fairly quick to see your real standing in line.

Go hold on to that post you built in your garden the next time the wind blows, that way someone(the wooden post) in the middle of the woods, will know that someone "cares" for it.

One of the many reasons I'm not President is I lack the diplomatic skills required.

It it were me I'd invite or even visit several Islamic Clerics that are widely respected throught the Middle East and not so gently inform them that if ONE US citizen gets so much as a hang nail from a terrorist attack on US Soil, Mecca will cease to exist except as a memory and I'd launch the missile myself on National Television.

PINEY!!!!....I must say....I'm liking what thou have written!!

The smitten here will not like it, but, maybe, this "terrible arrogance" is what the US needs to go back to. It was not that long ago, that it brought down the only other superpower in the world, who, unlike the US, was determined to spread it's filth worldwide, while we simply wanted freedom, and independence for all people of the world

I want the United States OUT of the role as worlds policeman.

I much prefer the title of "Arms Merchant to the World"

In my entire life I'm NEVER initiated force against another human being. I have however responded to that force on more than one occasion and it wasn't a pretty sight. I was never a bad man however those who were never messed with me.

That's the way the US Government should be. We're cool as long as you don't F with us, F with the USA and it will be an unhappy time for you.

It makes Foreign Policy relatively simple. it's clear, concise and requires little if any interpretation.

Exactly, just like in WWII, Japan f-d with us, and we rained hell on earth from above X2.

If you noticed Tech, Obama didn't have his Teleprompter strapped to his head, telling him not to bow !

Naw, it's just me and my pics he doesn't care for and the fact that I cut to chase without all the fluff !

So you would be willing to sacrifice countless thousands of innocent lives, on US soil and innocent lives of others in countries through out the world just to prove what? Do you not think that destroying a holy site just might piss off a few folks who are twisted enough to believe that this world is but a stop over on the way to paradise? How hard would it be to walk across the border with a dirty bomb and make US life a living hell? I guess it is a very good thing you are not President of anything.

I thought it was a leader who realized that saving his country from it's self was more important the spending his country into bankruptcy preparing for war that would never happen.

Thanks for clearing that up for me though. :jerry:

And now we just have someone spending our country into bankruptcy!

Another Protocol Gaffe. A United States President never bows to any Head of State. They do not touch the back of the Queen or give IPods or DVD's as state gifts. He must follow protocol. You do not discuss American religions overseas. Our media here keeps proping him up, but the international press has a much different view of him. Obama is being laughed at in international circles. They laugh at his teleprompters. He sorely needs to staff the protocol office at the WH.

There is no such thing as an innocent!

I'm OK with MILLIONS of dead people who seek to destroy us.

Children are not innocent?

The innocents I was referring to were the people here in the US and other western nations that would be targeted as a result of Mecca being wiped off the earth

I say stuff protocol. Courtesy and common sense ought to take precedent over protocol designed by bean pushers and diplomats.
