Good luck finding Tony and Flynn on the property. They wanted to preserve as many jobs in PHL as possible, it's as simple as that.


The IAM is losing members left and right and the fact that they made Tony an officer is a joke. It just goes to show that if you have a lot of power in a city, especially PHL because of its size and rebellious nature, then you will be rewarded by the IAM as long as you continue to tow the IAM line.

That sums it up
So helped create another Bscale of his own , sold out his union brothers in the other stations,threw his phl boys under the bus and ran to the iam for cover ! That will get him respect from the rank and file.
imo It will come around and bite him the ass , no education he won't get far on his looks
and and definately not a people person he's only look'n out for himself great.

I actually agree with you the IAM failed in the last round of concessions.

Your group was failed by members of your NC from a certain city who refused to let catering be outsourced with no job loss.

And the M&R group was let down by two certain people who wanted to ensure that their city's base remained opened (since that city was all ready downsized)and caused dissension amongst the NC to give a NO recomendation.

The only problem I have with that is that my sources tell me that they can't find it in the contract where catering is untouchable and cannot be outsourced at a later date. Can someone please help me out on this issue ?

Read what I posted before, I said there was a difference of opinion on a recommendation from the Committee, you saw a certain northern officer quoted in his hometown paper on how to vote.

And why don't you step up and try going against a bankruptcy judge in a court where the law is totally in favor of the debtor rather then the employees.

EVILE...what you should be concerned with is the company's consistent return of boeing 737 aircraft which are being done in good ole CLT.....i see a back door payback to CLT for all the militant horsecrap from years gone by.....you think when the boeings are almost gone they'll send a bus track your way????

Take them away, many of the younger guys would love to see it. Militants?? Give me a break. The majority of mechanics in clt are SHEEOPLE. They walk around the hangar saying YEEEEESSS, YEEEESSS!! The sooner the better. Then the old yes voters can have whats left!! Many of us still don't care anymore!! 😉

Ask the F/S agents from MYR,ILM, and Lord knows how many other small stations about how they feel about delibertly being placed in a local 4-5 hrs away from their city....with the intent to make it so difficult to get to their local that they couldn't be involved. Local meeting scheduled at 0900 and you gotta drive 4+ hrs to get there? Get involved you say...get up once a month at 0300 to attend your local (you cant get there by air). Oh, and drive past a local in RDU which is only 2 hrs away from where you live. Ask the AGC why and the reply I got was....they need you in the local you were assigned. Ask how can we get it changed to the local that is closer to us? Reply...I'll check into that. Never got a reply (as with many other questions) You want to know what I think of the IAM? I'll give you a hint. The feelilngs are = to those that I have about US management....present and past.
