Parker no shows on Larry King

Wow, this Larry King thing makes US look really bad. Larry King is a legend. How does anyone stand up Larry?

This is too good to pass up. The question is "How do they stand Larry up?"

Utterly who thinks she stuck her stiletto'd foot in this post before. Please forgive me. I am at that age, you know?

The good news is that CNN is watched only half as much as FNC. No-one watches Larry King anyway so no great damage was done.
I’ll be honest and say the last time I watched the King program was when Al Gore smacked up Ross Perot during the NAFTA debate. I was planning on trying to call in last night, but it seems like the only questions from the public were from Kettles milling around the WN terminal at LAX.

Had Tempe dealt with USAPA privately, last night would have probably been another yawn-fest about oil speculators. Instead, it turned into a 45 minute episode of FAIL, with Mary Schiavo offering her “expertâ€￾ opinion of safety.

This post is double ROT-13 encoded to keep Tempe off my back.

Crude is below $130/bbl - just about all the airlines are up by various amounts (the bigger ones are all up). Every legacy was up by a bigger percentage than US, as were FL, AS, and even Mesa.

Thanks Jim! I enjoyed those news clips ... I was only searching the major national news services ... ones that reach out to the masses. I'm well aware that the stock price was carried by the momentum of the market today, the point I was making is that, since LCC did not take a loss, the Street had no apparent concern about last night's episode or the USA Today ad.

OK, Good enough. What prevented a company Rep from calling the show live via TELEPHONE. You might suspect this may go away soon but I don't. You get paid to represent this company and a rebuttal by PHONE would have enlightened the audience. Now they are just wondering, which hurts the situation more.

I know, I know. You were caught off guard. Well no you were'nt. YOU WEREN'T PREPARED!!!!! Period!

Last call baby....THIS is going to get interesting.

In this environment fuel prices (with crude as a proxy) trump everything else except possibly quarterly results (which aren't out yet) and spilled blood (and even the USAPA spokesperson on Larry King said safety wasn't being compromised.

Jim

according to Miles O'Brian on CNN mins ago, he said its not the fuel itself, its the reserve and he went further as to say that HP and CO successfully negogiated with the FAA to carry 5% reserve fuel in the event of diverting to another airport or holding. According to a USAIRWAYS Statement, they claim they would never step into an unsafe situation whereas less fuel would compromise the safety of any flights

"As a one time Executive Vice President of The Air Line Pilots Association..." Harrumph, Harrumph/etc...Who cares? I'd have more interest if this individual was involved with Atlantic route flying..and had even the slightest idea what he was talking about here.

kudos to you broken wrench , very well writen ,honest and to the POINT .
