Isn't it funny they have no problem giving the names and addresses of the employees who were chraged?
But they did not give the names of the AA executives who were let go because of maintenance lapses.
And before anyone defends this by saying the executives were not charged with criminal wrongdoing...to you I ask then what's up with the record FAA fine against AA?

What they allowed to happen was criminal according to FAR's.

Let's see the names!

On behalf of ramp staff across the nation, I'd like to thank the "Philly 4" for once again reinforcing the stereotype that we're all thieves. Thanks guys...

If the FAA wished to pursue criminal charges for the AA maintenance lapses, leading to actual arrests, then the info would be public. If what they did was criminal, as you suggest, could you elaborate on the FARs that, if violated, would result such actions As you know, most FAR violations are not criminal actions.

Kev,

The "Philly 4" do lend to add to the refered stereotype you mention but for people who are educated we know they are NOT the norm. These individuals STOLE and felt untouchable. These individuals deserve jail time and also to NEVER be allowed to come near an aircraft, even allowed to fly on an aircraft.

I know many rampers and they are all hard working, honest people. The "Philly 4" haven't changed my impression of rampers.

There are thieves in every profession. FAs steal stuff out of their co-worker's bags in ops all the time. Even entire suitcases. Heard it from a fa in my training class about an entire suitcase of hers along with her hanging bag...gone! Flew with someone who had a laptop taken out of his bag and talked to another yesterday who had his sneakers...yes, sneakers stolen. Gross. Our base manager sent out a HI6 recently advising us to be careful about our belongings. What a sad state of affairs. All I can say is, what goes around comes around.
