I saw that coming the minute Hector came on the property. The PHL Director was rude, refused to introduce himself to the rank and file F/As and to be blunt was arrogant with no real skills to back up the attitude. I am not sorry to see him go. ADIOS! I am willing to bet we will get someone from the outside to come in and do it Hector's style. The two managers certainly won't cut the mustard.

How much? 😉 Follow the dots. Hector is putting his old NW & Eos people in place. So far the last Manager position and our newest supervisor. Hector doesn't seem to tolorate the West "style". He is very much old school.

He quickly replaced the Inflight Director and Base Manager in PHX after his arrival because they were terrible and that old west style was no longer wanted or welcomed at the new US. The new director in PHX is an old co-worker of Hector's from NW and she is AWESOME!!! After years of PHX being ruled under an ice queen it is soooooooo refreshing to have positive changes. Brenda the Director of PHX just had the crew room refreshed and updated, with lots more changes on the way! So hopefully PHL will get the long overdue proper Director/Managment it deserves of a major Intl' HUB and restore some order.

I'm so glad to hear this! It's nice to hear Hector is cleaning house! It will be nice to come back to a new environment.

That is so very untrue. He is very nice, and an ex f/a so he knows his job period
Which goes to show what you know.......first off, losing Dave Whitworth is one of the biggest losses this company has had for some time. He had the flight attendant background as well as the departmental and station backgrounds to round out his knowledge. He had a great vision for the department and a very loyal workforce (at least his reports....can't speak to the Philly F/As).........Just because Dave was the one who FINALLY got the B-16 crewroom up and running I know doesn't count for anything!!!!! A West wouldn't be so bad if everyone wouldn't trash it all the time.
Second, the two managers left behind are quite capable......Sue has been here for quite sometime and understands the domestic side of things and is now learning international.....Mona is from outside.....hasn't been here long....I think she is one of Hector's buds.........maybe NW?
In PHX, yes, Brenda is one of his from NW days......she is great.....but the Manager has been there for a while......I think she's former West....had been a supervisor. And it was PHX turn for the face lift.....not just because Brenda got there......remember PHL got B16 first.........then CLT crewroom got a makeover.....these two had been promised makeovers for YEARS!
I doubt if anyone will go to PHL from the West......why leave PHX for PHL!? UGH! The weather doesn't compare!
