What's new

PHX in, all others out

i couldn't agree more. from day 1 it's been nothing but PHX and LAS. we had to repaint the ENTIRE FLEET of aircraft including Express aircraft because the blue paint will get too hot in the desert (at least that's the line that was presented). if it was for another reason (morale, time to repaint anyway) say so but not because of the heat in the desert. Geez!

Give me a break.

Good Lord in Heaven! Is there no end to the incessant whinning and crying? Gimme a break already!

Yeah, we've been beat down...and chose to stay
Yeah, we've taken concessions, and chose to stay
Yeah, management sucked at times, we chose to stay

The same people whinning and crying about the happenings in PHX are the same ones who more than likely held their wallets close to their chests when WE collected for charitable organizatioins in the East. I cant tell you how many times I heard "with all these cuts, I cant afford to"... give money to Make a Wish, or to take a name off the Christmas tree, or to even cough up a buck or 2 for flowers for a coworkers parents funeral, and whats really pathetic, is when they couldnt part with that buck for a coworkers funeral!!!! Yes, it happened!

It's all the same guys. The same whinney assed people in here have always been that way. The only thing that changes is their topic...who can I blame now. And since the merger, they now have a new management team to blame....and more coworkers to blame.

As for any of the folks getting off their lazy asses to coordinate a fund raiser, or partake in a charity event, forget it. It's never gonna happen. They are more content whinning and crying, than trying to make positive difference in somebodys life, or society in general.

God, I hope we can weed some of these miserable people out. They are like a cancer, and they enjoy it! Pathetic

Let's see who's whining when the easties can transfer into the PHX base. Oh Lord, pass the cheese.

More whining than the plane engine.

You want to start employee affinity groups, do it. Get a bunch of people together for a common goal (something that helps people, not a drinking club or something like that) and meet. Put together a charter, goals and purpose statement, have a few meetings and take it to the company and ask for some help if you want it.

We had a few that did it at HP, and we were more than happy to assist, only problem was that turnover was so high that some of them dropped out of sight.

Also, check with the pass bureau, read the ASU travel guide for some of the discounts you have, same with a group called NESRA (I think) that the company belongs to which offers discounts and such.

Its one thing to whine, another thing to do.
