Pit/clt Mechs

Hey fanlube, well said brother. They can't bring on the layoff soon enough for me. The guys left do not feel "lucky to have a job". The line will be full of people who haven't touched a plane in years, and the fat wardens of hanger 5 are intent to make it a prison camp.
Good luck to all, weather they stay or go.

Are you trying to say that GS and JC are not up to the task of running
stalag 13? Col Klink and Sgt Shultz!!!

The bumble twins.. Neither of them can spell "Work"..

Neither of them ever worked at US Airways.. They just took up space
until someone promoted them.

Now they lead the entire PIT Mtc group!!

Charlotte Maintenance Management has gotten rid of the only breakroom for utility on the line so now 200 employees have no breakroom to use.

There will be a call to Human Resources Monday morning.

Great way to treat employees, don't give them a room to store their stuff, sit down to eat and take away the fridge for them to place their food in.

Great management skills.

I am curious are utility part of the mechanic and related group? Does utility use the same rooms as mechanics or was that the only mechanics breakroom too? Oh and with the new contract how many utility will be left on the line?

The mechanics have workcenters that they only use with breakrooms.

And Line Utility is going to be there till around May in CLT.

Quick quiz, can anyone name this hanger 5 manger?

If that isn't the Chopper I don't know who it is.. Looks just like him.

The big difference.. Shultz was a nice guy.

I remember the Chopper and the Sweat Pants spending his working
days as a mechanic in the planning office talking with the planners all
night long.. They didn't want him on the plane because he would screw
it up!!

Now the Chopper is the manager..

Now the latest.. Chopper will be Midnight manager. Wade and Kevin are going
to Alabama as Tech Reps and sign off kings. Hall and Carosella are launched.

Louie is the Dayshift Manager so he can be close to his idol.

I guess Osama Bin Lewis will be the afternoon manager.. He's slightly below Louie on the GS idol worship..

The rest of the crack management staff is staying.. No reductions.. To valuable.
That goes for the planning staff.. No reductions.. As a matter of fact they have a
job posting for Planner in Base in PIT.. Seems they don't have enough.. They went from 7 tracks to 3 and closed hangar 1 & 2 but they need to keep all of the planners.. All of them.. There will now be two planners per plane on every shift..
(covering 7 days 2 planners every shift)

let us all pay homage to the great one:

I just read an article from a local paper from Pit and it talked about a guy with 25 years as a stock clerk losing his job. My lord, what kind of seniority does one have to have to keep this type of job?

It could be the employee has 25 yrs with the company and only 7 yrs of those spent as a stock clerk. Just speculating of course. If he does indeed have 25 years as a clerk, then we are all doomed

Check out that picture!! The legend lives in full color..

All you need to do is look at the picture.. It truly does
replace a thousand words.. Except one.. IDIOT..

As for the stock clerk losing their job.. They should be thankful, getting
out early.. Beat the rush.. 40 year people will be out of work in a few
months..
