US Airways on Tuesday reported a slim net profit of $34 million for the three months ended June 30 --- its first real finish in the black since the summer of 2000.

US Airways, outperforming several rivals, posted a surprising $34 million profit in the recently completed second quarter, but the airline's chief executive officer, Bruce Lakefield, downplayed the news, warning the airline could still file for bankruptcy this fall without more employee concessions.

U would have actually reported $41 million!
 
I think it might be prudent to bring that up in the negotiations the CWa is having. Lets see them squirm and spin their way around that!
