First: Cuts and bruises will heal over time. What we suffered was the loss of a limb while we were laughed at. Did ANY of your twu international APPOINTED officers suffer any "cuts and bruises"? (Didn't think so.)

Second: Members of a union? Do you mean an INDUSTRIAL union that will not allow a representational election amongst their AMTs or a craft union for AMTs? A union where ALL, local & international officers, are elected by the membership or a union that APPOINTS international officers. (Int. officers who by the way DO NOT receive pay & benefit reductions when the membership does.)

Third: Resolve? Do not confuse resolve with the actions of an extension of human resources. The twu will do what ever the company says it wants. Representational election? OKAY! We will just add a list of dead people to the eligibility list. Concessions? OKAY! We'll just accept the concessions because the international owns/controld the contract. Executive bonuses? OKAY! We will just maybe write a letter and pretend we are angry.

If you are so proud of the company making a profit AND of the twu why do you use an alias?

To answer your question though... What is my plan?

FIRST: Get a craft union that believes in the democratic process from top to bottom. That is VERY simple.

Second: When the company comes begging/demanding concessions first see if they are needed AND that managament AND union SHARE THE SACRIFICE. When the agreement is made it should stipulate a full SNAP-BACK.

Third: Respect and market the skilled, professional AMTs employeed throughout the AA system... MCI, TUL, AFW and the Line Stations.

You talk about Hackman being proud that NWA pissed away $108 MILLION dollars. NWA used this money to erode MY craft & profession. What about AA's pissing away their million dollar bonuses.

Fourth: And most importantly. Ensure that cowardly suckasses like yourself are never elected into office. 😉

What do we have to gain by getting out?

Well first of all what did we have to gain by getting in? Instead of sitting with the company trying to tell them how to run the company, which is managements job, not the unions, the TWU should be fixing the broken structure of the AA/TWU-ATD which makes it dependant on illegal company payouts.

All this PLI does is grant fustrated wannabe managers who scamed into a TWU position to act like management.

The fact is that Don V is going around telling e-bds that we arent going to get anything back through this, so why participate? Why waste the time?

The closest you are going to get to the cherry is the pit.

You seem to feel that you can build a stronger company than management can. Well if thats the case then by all means go into management, like Jim Little did. I too would like to see the company run well. The first step towards that is to clean out HQ and get rid of the people who made things so bad that they had to rape us.

Talk about stupid, how stupid could you be to think that the company is really going to give you any information of value, unless of course they think you are too stupid to realize its value.

Didnt Little do all that information gathering prior to the concessions? Little claimed that they would get a lot of valuable info by sitting down with the company and looking over its books. What was the result of that? A 25% paycut!!! Then it took a newspaper reporter to find the executives perks! Why didnt Little and his experts find that? Oh yea, because Little paid the same company that AA hired to sell concessions to the International to review AAs books and suprise suprise, they missed it.

Now you claim that the same strategy will have different results. Hmm, what do they call it when you do the same thing over and over and expect to get different results?
