Thanks to TG for putting herself out for the good of the people. And to LA - well, let's see if she will fly 7 days a week to get her 165 or 180 hour a month paycheck....$$$$$$$

Nothing but SELF SERVING if you ask me! Yeah TG!

LAURA JUST SENT THIS OUT VIA ELINE. I'M SURPISED SHE DIDN'T JUMP ON HER BROOM AND SKYWRITE IT OVER PHL 🙄

Dear Member,

November 6, 2006 was the second LEC Meeting held at the Marriott from 1:00pm until 4:00. Mike Flores, the MEC President, was the guest speaker and he gave a synopsis on the 24/7 ruling and a negotiations update.

A motion that all the Local Officers, myself, Terry Graf, and Mariellen Horgan, (President, Vice-President, Secretary respectively) resign as of December 1, 2006. The motion was seconded and passed with 27 voting for the motion, 5 against. All three Officers signed resignations that were accepted by MEC President Mike Flores. The MEC (the Local Council Presidents from DCA, CLT, PIT, LGA, and BOS) will meet to appoint a new President, Vice President, and Secretary for the interim until elections can be held to vote in new Officers.

No other motions were brought forth, so all the other motions that were passed last week were not enacted. The meeting was adjourned at 4:00.

It's a shame that LA would not just step down with what little dignity she had left. She chose to take the rest of the officers with her. Shame. Oh well, mission accomplished, LA is out. Now let's move on with an LECP that is productive, and is actually in touch with the membership....

Hoping TG will run again. Regardless of her emotions, I think she does have a lot to offer this Council. We shall see....
