What are the current retirement requirements for non union AA employees? Just in case there is a merger, debating to retire beforehand or after?

The above poster is a union-hating America West employee.

Who are you to label someone as such? What is your criteria for being deemed a union hater? Please provide some examples.

Just go to the profile and look at the dribble that was posted on the US board.

The said poster even gloated when US announced layoffs of fleet service a few months ago.

I only despise what they have become. Political Frauds. Almost everything unions support politically are diametrical opposed to workers best interest.
Perfect example unions led with environmental nuts to kill the pipeline from Canada to the Gulf and 20,000 jobs. Why would unions do that?
Because their leadership are all radical leftist, concerned only about politics and not their members!

Oh and their are no serious environmental concerns with that project.

Another example is illegal immigration, unions used to be very hard on it and now champion letting illegals in and giving them status, which only hurts current union members.

I am an educated poster, who has dealt with up, I wouldnt post something if it wasnt the truth.

That's who I am!

As you see, sorry not mindless, college educated, labor educated and I think for myself, I am a leader not a follower.

See the poster just proved my point, now run along Josh.

Ok, do did AMFA the "craft" union have much success at NW?

Nope got their butts handed to them on a silver platter.

I feel the same as Buck. There is no shame in fighting and losing, but when you turn tail and run I have problem with that. The iam helped NWA by doing scab work to help the company and try to undermine AMFA.

The said work was all ready in the IAM FSA CBA, and removed from the AMFA CBA upon imposition of the Final Offer.

And your pilots flew over your picket line, and the PFAA, AMFA's sister union even flew over your picket line as did the IBT represented pilots at Champion Air.

Having bashed each other relentlessly over at the US forum for years, they now branch out to the AA forum; I guess it's topical because of the rumours that Parker may attempt to take over AA at some point in the future.

Still didn't answer the question, what is your criteria for someone to be considered a union hater? It seems you throw around that label whenever people disagree with you. The poster is entitled to his/her opinions. Besides, don't you have organizing to work on to preserve your coffers after the CO and DL decertifications?

Union solidarity at its best!

I do not believe that PFAA and AMFA have any affiliation?

The pilots flew over your picket line, that has nothing to do with anything, the pilots flew over the Air Traffic Controllers also.

Depends on their point of view and what they've said in the past to characterize union participants . Here are some examples;

posted Dec 20, 2011
"Sadly many agents at Logan seem to support the election which isn't too surprising considering this historically a big union town"

posted Dec 15, 2011
"The Verizon thugs thought they could undermine the company... "

Posted Dec 20, 2011
"I wouldn't mind seeing AA outsource significant agent positions.... "

Hope that answers the question
