So you don't have a problem with paying a greater percentage of your income than someoen who makes a lot more money than you?
You're way too caught up in percentages. What was the sum total paid? And what was the average cost of services received in return?...
Personally I have no problem with the tax rates being different. Without seeing their tax returns, I can guarantee that Romney, Buffett, Gates and the Koch Brothers all wrote far bigger checks to the IRS being taxed at 15% than I did at 27%.
I do have a problem with General Electric paying nothing, though. Especially when small and medium business are being taxed... The US has one of the highest corporate income tax rates in the world. Unless you're friends with the President, evidently.
