777,

You know they are lying because most of them have been arguing for a flat tax. The only reason to argue for a flat tax is so that everyone pays the same amount.

You never answered the question, who feels the affect more? You at 25-28% or them at 15%?

Actually, the people who feel it the most right now are the jobless. Where I don't have a lot of capital to invest $$$ into a company, thus creating jobs, the "Evil Rich" do. So, every dime you take out of they're pockets, might have went towards job's creation !

Sorry Tree............"Fair Tax" here, not a flat tax and no , they are not the same !

I swear if I hear that job creator line one more time I think I'm going to hurl. Business is expanded based on demand. The people who create demand are the middle class. No middle class, no demand and no recovery. Corporate tax rates used to be much higher and some how they managed to 'create' jobs. Tax rates for the rich used to be quite a bit higher (not that they ever paid them then any more than they pay them now) and somehow they managed to continue acquiring wealth.

When are you going to stop believing? What will it take for you to recognize that what we're seeing is the largest transfer of wealth in generations? What do you think caused the economy's collapse?

Corporate profits are up, so if these so called job creators are as benevolent as you'd like to think, then where are the jobs?

BTW, a depressed economy hurts the small business (you know, the ones you like to champion?) much more than, say, Target or Wells Fargo.

Jobs aren't created unless the demand for goods and services outstrips the ability to deliver them.

Progressive socialists controlling two branches of government recently and one for the past ten or so years.

Where you pointing the finger here?

Right out of the progressive socialist playbook, not the conservatives.

At anyone who still thinks people like Romney have their (and the Nation's) best interest at heart.

Never mentioned Romney. The fact that we're seeing the greatest transfer of wealth in generations isn't because of conservative ideology.
