Selfish, Ignorant, Rude & ARROGANT behavior!

So if the Steelers and Eagles make it to the Super Bowl, which is going to be in Tampa, FL....this will be a trifecta of traveling disaster for commuters!! Who's bringing the popcorn :up: :up:
 
C'mon girl it won't be a disaster. You know the Super Bowl is one of the biggest call off days. :lol:
 
Isn't the SSSS on the boarding pass only when you are non-reving and you must go through security and get the mark of the day for boarding? It was a check put in place to make sure that non-working employees were being screened. I vaguely remember reading some multi page document put out by TSA awhile back taking about this. Something like they wanted us to go through security before we non-reved home after a trip. I fogret, anyway that is what the SSSS is for - to get the TSA mark of the day and we are not exempt from it as far as I know.

I vaguely remember TSA trying to pull that crap. Someone wisely pointed out that there is really no way for any employee to be effectively "re-screened" since they can theoretically stow all their stuff in a crew room/ break room and walk back out naked to be rescreened. What would be the point?
 
So does anyone know what the root of this PIT-US arrogance is from?
PIT people outside the airline don't seem that way. Is it just a function of 30+ years with the company?
Surprising you should ask, but then, it always seems those most involved with arrogance are always the last to know.

The actual quote was, "I can successfully transit airport security naked, and still bring down an airplane".

True now as it was then.

Airport security is a joke, almost every employee would agree, yet we allow this "theatre" to rule our lives. At least the employees should get paid walk-on "extra" pay to comply.
 
The story that was related to me was that WN had a weight and balance issue then asked for N/R(s) to deplane and apparently none spoke up. This required the WN agents to examine every boarding pass until the N/R(s) were identified and escorted off the A/C.

If this is true the WN agents must have been pi**ed.

If this is true that person or persons should lose N/R benefits.

This is second hand knowledge so I apologize if this is not entirely accurate or details have been left out.

The only thing that I question about this is the fact that when you board a WN flight as a non-rev using the reciprocal cabin jumpseat agreement, the Ops agent pulls the entire boarding pass at the boarding podium. I just flew WN twice this week and once the boarding pass was scanned by the gate reader it was kept by the boarding agent and I proceeded down the jetway with no stub, receipt or anything. If this situation had occurred on one of the flights I had been traveling I would have had to present ID. It would have been easy to locate me, though, because I was traveling in uniform! :lol:
 
PIT people better get it together, heard from my end at WN the PIT-PHL embargo might happen and happen quick. I would watch it and fast. :down:
