SICK CALLS UP BIGTIME

To hell with RLA, I say we WALK!
Tell mommy you need another juice box and cut off the damn crusts!!!

Was talking to crew sked, as they were telling me they are short pilots (imagine that) they said sick calls are way way up at all bases (east side). Going to be a long hot summer!!!!! Several guys that have returned just up and quit. Mean while the celebration goes on out west!!
Let's have the employee #'s of those that have quit, otherwise go make a Halon smoothie to put out the flame.

BRILLIANT IDEA!

Sick-outs! Everyone call in sick so the planes don't fly and don't create revenue! That way the company can fail and we can all be on our asses on the street without jobs! YAAAAY!!!

At least people are heeding the advice...if you don't like how arbitration turned out, leave. The results are not the west's fault. Blame the arbitrator.

If you can't recognize that there are people who are simply not in a state of mind to fly for a few days then you are simply unaware of the reality that many USAir pilots are experiencing.

Not being in the state of mind to fly is one thing. Intentionally calling in sick solely to prove a point is another.

The west could have done what was right and avoided arbitration. Whatever comes down, it started in the west and set in the west. Now meet your fate westerners. You had a hand in this war.

Sure, West could have bowed down to the great easterners who do the same job. ALL HAIL!

Quit drinking out of the Delaware River.

You be the judge. Take a look at CLT arrivals and compare the carriers.

I don't know. All I saw were USAirExpress flights. They looked pretty much on time.So much for union solidaritybetween the "big 'uns" and the "yung 'ins",I guess. So when did USAir pull out of CLT? 😉 Is it now an "express station";or whatever you call it?

I believe they tried. Your PHL pilots didn't want anything but DOH...and here you guys are.Pissed off at the world...as usual <_<

Perhaps one day they will realize that we have crappy attitudes that equal their own. Easties read a few kool-aid drinkers posts and come to the conclusion we sit around drinking mint julips and telling stories praising our "savior" Dougie. Believe us, Easties: We hate Doug, too. This is a hatred that goes all the way down to the marrow. Many of us old-timers are actually praising Bill Franke. At least he told us what he thought about us instead of blowing smoke up our tailpipes. May Doug Parker rot in Hell.

Good drink choice for Derby Day! Although I didn't think Mint Julips were that popular in Tempe.

Give it a rest,Granny. Time to start working for a real airline. Enjoy PHL reserve.

let me understand this. the pilots union which both west and east were the same just different "lodges" decided how to merge the seniority list without any input from the company and pilots are calling in sick and not flying since they are upset about what they did to themselves? I'm glad Doug and Scott thought up this plan to screw the unions once again. Good luck and I hope you figure out how to take it out on the union and not the company.

I had my first day (4 legs) cancelled for lack of C/O and no-one is assigned for tomorrow as of yet. Schedulers sounded defeated, I in my 20, I mean 6 years, I have never heard schedulers so subdued on the phone and said they were having a "real hard time today." I asked the scheduler, when she called to cancel my day, if she understood why this was happening and she said, "yes."
